So just how are the states and municipalities better able to impose income tax on illegals than the IRS? You do realize that the majority of all taxes for non-land owners are income taxes, right? So, if you get rid of the largest tax burden and then you have a large quantity of people dealing in black and gray market areas for a lot of things where taxes are a moot point, how much skin do they have in the game?
Seriously Latrine this is weak. Illegals dodge massive amounts of tax burden, loads of them operate in a cash only black/gray market economy and carry little or no liability for their actions at all. Illegal alien driving illegally in the US carries no responsibility for their actions should something happen. They don't pay to support schools that educate their kids, they increase costs due to blatant refusal to learn English and the Liberal cow-towing to provide accommodation and in many areas substantially increase the crime rate by actions if not just by the fact they are CRIMINALS ALREADY for just being there. This also doesn't even begin to address the massive cash drain they are on the economy since they tend to export shit tons of that illegally earned money cross border.
My ancestors were immigrants, immigration is a good thing, that means going through the immigration process and integrating into the community. Not committing a crime to become a squatter and then take advantage of tolerance and generosity to refuse to assimilate into the existing community. We need immigration reform, not a free ride for those that have already broken our laws and who continue to amount to an economic and social cancer.
In the 50's and 60's the farms got worked, the fields picked, laundry done and so on with all the jobs stereotyped as ones illegals do. The difference was, back then, the people doing them paid taxes and were Americans. It should be that way again.
