I'm so sorry about this. Losing a pet is horrible.

That does suck. I had to put down my siamese almost exactly 3 years ago for that same reason.

Yea, "Kitty-Girl" has been a good pet and just when you think she's done, she goes and stops puking every meal and starts playing with string, begging you to hold her and purring like mad. She must have stolen some lives from another cat.

I pissed off a bee's nest while cutting grass and took a couple stings. The one on my ankle hurts pretty bad, one on the finger... just annoying.

I was helping one of my friends with some of her research and we came up on the topic of scopolamine. For those of you that don't know, it's the drug that made the myth of truth serum. It inhibits any form of free will and leaves the person open to suggestion. If you increase the dosage, it is a very strong hallucinogen. Oddly enough, it's legal in the US. I said, "If it wasn't used for rape, I'd probably get some of the plants and start making it myself. I'm not really down with rape." She replied, "I'm down with that!" Instead of catching the hint and initiating sexy time, I was shocked and changed subjects really quick. I'm dense sometimes.

Time to direct the conversation back to will-reducing drugs then and work for a second opening. Uh, opening to make a move, not the second opening... unless she is into that, then by all means, work for the second opening.

    Awww, that's horrible.

I was curious about what yonder internet dude said and asked my cats vet if he was probably a maine coon and my vet said YES (capslock irl). Then I looked at wikipedia and that says kidney issues and hip problems are common for them. My cat has hip issues. :-/
