The flu I am now suffering has convinced me I should start getting flu shots. My lifeforce is blasting out of both ends. I have not been this sick sans alcohol since I was a teenager. Three hours after I started puking, my wife started puking. The only upside is that my son's cough caused me to stay home from a downtown carouse last night to celebrate my friend's graduation from john marshall.

Not very often, apparently it IS too much effort.

Depends. They may be interviewing other candidates, or making internal decisions. It is close to the holidays, so the decision-makers may not be around. You might not hear anything until the new year, but not hearing doesn't mean you didn't get the job. Most of the time you can call the interviewer and just ask about time tables if you haven't heard anything after a few weeks.
