Not your fault. And no, it wasn't pneumonia. The emergency vet was an idiot. Took her to her regular vet as soon as I picked her up from the emergency vet, and she was gasping all morning for air just struggling. The vet believes she had an obstruction of some sort in her bronchi bifurcation, because even with a tube down her throat he couldn't get good flow to her lungs. I had to put her down, and will find out more after he does the autopsy.
I'm about ready to move too because all I do is look around and see her not in any of her spots and I'm pretty much beside myself.

Ugh, so sorry for you. Pets really become a part of your family and you do get very very attached. I know for a long time out of the corner of my eye I'd swear I'd see our cat after she died. I think I finally stopped seeing her like that after about a year.
