We went out to the practice range today and were hitting from the 280 (to the green) tee box. I was practicing my high irons and decided to take a driver out for the last ball. This was the result. Now, if only I could actually repeat that. Maybe next year.

It's not as much about golf as it is about common sense... let's see if I can help you find some:

"hitting from 280" = hitting from 280 yards from the hole.. or almost 3 times the distance of the length of a football fields. A really good distance for a golf shot..

Now, I highlighted some important features in the picture:



Notice the white ball? That's the golf ball he hit around 280 yards. Notice how close it is to the pin? That is a really, really good shot. A professional golf player would be very happy with that shot.
