The original claim was firearms prevent 2.5 million CRIMES every year, and yet you provide a graph showing "defensive use" of a firearm in which a gun was fired, almost all of which resulted in a death or injury, and all of which resulted in the police getting involved.
Those aren't even close to being the same statistics.
There is a video floating around during the time far left insurrectionists took over parts of Seattle where a man finally had enough of the fuckers camping out in front of where he lived so he started to flip over all of the tables and shit. At one point a violent leftist insurrectionist approaches the man with a knife, the man pulls out a gun, NEVER POINTS IT AT ANYONE (unlike criminal Alec Baldwin), and tells the dude to drop his knife, which he does. The man then proceeds to calmly put his firearm away and continue to tear down the camp.
Was a violent crime prevented by a firearm? Absolutely. Was a gun fired? Nope. Did the police get involved at all? Nope.
See how wrong your comparison is? Probably not.
