Which is derived by interviewing ACTUAL VICTIMS OF CRIME. Where on the flipside, it says a ten-fold increase occurs if you interview a random sample of households, multiply it by the average statistic of crimes commited without verifying of victims were armed, then averaging that against the population of the United States. That number couldn't be more bullshit if it tried.
Even more embarrassing is the cited benefactor bias of a number of the so called surveys:
Once again, the gun fellating right is using 25 year old sample biased, sponsor biased random surveys using bad math to vastly over inflate the number of Defensive Gun Usages, despite ACTUAL DATA OF VICTIMS clearly contradicting it.
