“Two officers reported that Mr. Reinoehl began reaching toward the center console of the vehicle,” the release states. When an officer saw Reinoehl pull out what he thought was a handgun and position it toward the police, they began firing, officials said.
Reinoehl then fled from the car and moved behind it, as officers continued firing shots.

You'll have to forgive me if I don't for one second believe any "witnesses" in Portland of all places who jump to the defense of a wanted and known murderer, who all just so happened to watch the entire thing unfold, as if they were expecting it to happen and can recall words or lack of words exchanged before hand and everything. Not only that but apparently they were also watching the murderer walk to his car and can recall only a cell phone and gummy worms in his hand, oh oh and not only that but were so scared they ducked behind cars for cover but also watched the entire gunfight and can say for sure that the murderer never had a gun nor even reached for a gun.Deaven Reinoehl, one of Michael’s two children, told OPB and ProPublica his father “didn’t plan on turning himself in at all” following the fatal shooting.
