The current tax system benefits the wealthy as it is. They don't want to change it.

Succeeded tax all income brackets? What the fuck is that gibberish.
In your attempt to sound like you know what words mean, because you're notorious for having no clue what anything actually means, you've managed to remind everyone again that you still don't know what words mean.

In other words, you've failed yet again.

I'll let you figure out which definition is the applicable one. Retard

How's that working out so far for "equality"?

Of course, there is also the Fair Tax, which I kinda like. It removes all income taxes, and creates a high tax rate on goods sold. IRS no longer worries about individual citizens, but rather, businesses only.
That's a slightly more feasible option, similar to a VAT only on the tangible good. Problem being, so many businesses don't have tangible good but rather a service and the value of those services are subjective. Instead of levying a tax on a defined salary, business profit, you're going to have to create a price structure on services.

Or we could just keep the existing system, collect all those unpaid taxes and find some middle ground between raising taxes and cutting services to return to balanced budgets.

Services wouldn't be taxed. Services still require the purchase of goods, however. Whether they are sold by the person performing the service, or the person performing the service has to buy them.

But yes, all of the billionaires you claim to hate would love to keep the current system.

How are you so retarded? Who feeds you because I am sure you can't manage it yourself.

Here, I will break it down long hand with simple sentances.

Many European nations are championed by the Left.

Those nations are places where the Left claims Socialism has succeeded.

Many of those nations tax everyone, every tax bracket, they don't have nearly 50% of the population not paying income tax.

Because the rich and poor alike all pay income tax, they tend to think more cautiously about voting for tax increases.

The Left can't stand the idea of people being equal before the law.

Does that clear it up for you? Do I need to use smaller words? Can your government funded attendant explain it to you so you can understand?

As you or no one else has submitted a a detailed fiscal plan in the last 20 years of how your proposed tax rate would work in the united states, I'm pretty confident that it has a snowball's chance of hell of ever working

So Democrats passed the "Inflation Reduction Act" which included 7500 dollars in electric vehicle credits.

Shortly after it was passed GM and Ford raised the prices of their electric vehicles by between 6000 and 8500 dollars.

You can't even make this shit up.

Democrats: "We're gonna make electric vehicles affordable by having the tax payers foot the bill!"
Car companies: "Oh yeah, LOL! We are raising the prices by the same amount as the tax credits! Thanks, suckers! LOL LOL LOL!"

Fun fact, most EVs won't qualify for the incentives due to the origin of their batteries and battery materials.

    Except all used ones.

And most won't qualify for the full refund. But many will qualify for half

I'm against the requirements personally, but you ARE leaving out that the requirements are there to incentivize American manufacturing
