I’m saying it was a chaotic situation, the police likely had no idea whether she was armed or not, and her behavior was violent. A reasonable person may assume that the threat of serious bodily injury was imminent. When it comes to these grey areas where you and I can Monday morning quarterback all the details but law enforcement has to make a split second decision in the moment, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the police especially when they gave her every opportunity to avoid this outcome with repeated lawful orders to stop.Quote:

largely I'd agree. But when they have flag poles, baseball bats using helmets to already bash in a barricade on the door that clearly is put there because the people on the other side DO NOT want them crossing.
