Obama calling anyone a Marxist fraud is rich, he is the king of Marxist pieces of shit.
Kamala is way left of Obama. Think about that for a moment. GovTrack rated Kamala as the #1 most leftist Senator in 2019 beating even Bernie Sanders.
It’s quite hilarious that these retards think she is going to do well in a general election, especially in key rust belt states.
Absolutely agree.
I’m not underestimating Kamala. I think she will actually do slightly better than Biden could have, but as long as Trump & the Republicans don’t completely fuck it up they will beat her by a significant margin of electoral votes. Obama is smart enough to understand this.
Now if they did ever find a way to put up Michelle Obama, I’d concede that Trump would be legit scared & likely to lose. And I can’t stand Michelle, but the facts are she is popular. Lucky for us, at least so far, that doesn’t seem to be a possibility this election.
He was a great President, pulling us out of the Great Recession that Bush bought about with all his wreckless anti-regulation. Much as Biden brought out of the the Covid-19 Recession that Trump exacerbated. Maybe Obama gave some sage advice, who knows. The more common theme is that Republicans ruin the economy.
He was a piece of shit that really stoked racism, attack cops and allowed the beginning of the Leftist riot tradition. He instilled the new KKK with power, aka BLM and refused to do anything about the death and destruction all because it suited him. He ordered the coup in Ukraine, enticed the Russian invasion in Crimea and the rise and expansion of ISIS. He also presided over the destruction of Libya and the the reopening of live, in the public, African slave markets. But yeah, he was a great president. The copium is strong.
This could explain why Trump wants to back out of the debates..
Unlike Biden, Trump has already been nominated. It's probably too late to replace him with somebody else.Quote:
Trump has faced growing questions over his mental acuity, with author Ramin Setoodeh saying last month he found the former president exhibiting “severe memory issues” during their six interviews. Business leaders who met with Trump recently complained he was “meandering” and “doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
Earlier this year, Trump confused former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who served as his ambassador to the United Nations and was running against him for the presidential nomination, with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
Trump and his campaign insist the former president is healthy.

Trump wants multiple debates with Kamala. She is a gaffe machine and historically performs very poorly in debates. Trump will absolutely destroy Harris when comparing policies & track record. Her performance as Senator is way too far left for mainstream voters and she inherits all the problems & frustrations people have of the Biden administration except for Biden’s age & mental issues.
I think it’s fair Kamala secure the official nomination first. Let the Democrats put forward their very best candidate and let’s have a debate on the issues the American way.
I totally nailed it. After promising "anywhere, anytime, any place," Trump now says that he will only debate if it is in an arena, on September 4 and on FoxNews. If Harris does not agree, he says there will be no debate. He is withdrawing his prior acceptance of the debate currently scheduled for September 10 on ABC.
This is a strategic error on Trump's part. Expectations have been set so high for Harris' debating skills that there is no way she could live up to them. And Trump would perform better than he seems to think he would. Although the Harris campaign is taking advantage of Trump's apparent cowardice, they must be secretly relieved.
Soon, Trump will begin to blame his campaign staff for these sorts of errors.
I think Trump should honor his prior arrangement of a September debate hosted by ABC if Joe Biden is the one to debate him…
If I were Kamala Harris I would not accept Trump’s debate challenge. She hasn’t done a single interview or unscripted televised event since receiving the noble coronation of presumptive nominee. There is a very good reason for that. She should at least wait until she is the real-deal official nominee. That way the Democrat elites can’t cast her aside like a leper after Trump mops the floor with her on the debate stage.
Trump agreed to debate Biden, not Harris. And yeah, I would not debate anyone until after they become the nominee at this point. Too much wasted time for a possible rope-a-dope.
Not so. I bet you heard that from Trump or on from a news source that misrepresents the facts to favor Trump. Here are the facts, presented without any misrepresentation..
The criteria for the ABC debate are at https://abc.com/news/adaaae86-2621-4...tegory/1138628
It does not mention Biden or Trump. Trump agreed to debate anybody who met the criteria. The criteria are
- Meet the requirements in the Constitution to be President,
- Be on the ballot in enough states that it is possible to get a majority of electoral votes, and
- Poll at 15%.
At the time it was contemplated that Kennedy or another third-party candidate might meet the criteria, but that seems unlikely now. Harris certainly meets the criteria. Trump agreed to debate anyone who met the criteria.
She does not, she hasn't met those 3 conditions. She isn't on the ballot yet, there is a convention because until they actually cast their votes, no matter what the appearances may be, she isn't the nominee and isn't on the ballot in states. Sorry. There are stipulations about being on the ballot if you aren't the winner of primaries in the states that require formal nomination.
And then there is the true statement of cowardice . . .
https://scontent-atl3-2.xx.fbcdn.net...8g&oe=66B4C82E
This is what happens when you successfully pull off a coup of the nominee and install another candidate of the elite's choice as the new "nominee"... you lose all standing when it comes to agreements.
What are the dems going to do when Kamala is exposed as the empty headed suit she is after the Democrat convention? Do you have to assassinate her to get someone who can win in.. or do you try to assassinate the opposition again?
She's already the nominee, the vote was held a couple days ago, about the time when Trump was getting his ass handed to him by three black, female journalists and he melted down. I can't blame Trump from running scared and begging Fox to protect him from a strong, independent black woman, but he couldn't look more the pussy if he tried.
She's like 4% "black". She's 50% Indian and probably 25-30% Irish.
Her great-great-great-great grandfather was Irish, immigrated to Jamaica and was one of the largest slave owners on the island.
https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/2...er-in-jamaica/
Virtual primaries are a thing, recorded votes are as well. Funny thing is, none of that would have been necessary had Republican-controlled legislature not stonewalled moving their ballot qualification deadline to date prior to the Democrat Convention. Sucks to be Republicans who so desperately try to curtail democracy.

A good morning for this, as the markets crash out.
Democracy 101 - the people choose the candidates through a voting process and throw a party if they win!
Communism 101 - the party chooses the candidates without any input from the people.
I'm not at all surprised that you are confused.
The democratic process involves citizens actively participating in the decision-making process in the government. In this country, voting for elected officials is one of various methods by which citizens can participate in the democratic process.
There was nothing at all "democratic" at the coronation process for Kamala Harris.
Trump would not have agreed to the debate if he did not believe recent polls are correct.Quote:
WASHINGTON - Former President Donald Trump said Thursday he is willing to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Sept. 10 after all – and proposed two other debates on top of that.
The former president's campaign also put forth debate dates of Sept. 4 and Sept. 25, with details to be worked out with the Harris campaign.
"I think they'll be very revealing," Trump told reporters during a snap news conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla. "We'd like to do three debates."

TBH, other than being hugely TDS afflicted, I am pretty sure, given some time and a large pack of crayons and notebook paper, ClydeR would perform better than her in a debate. This isn't really praise since that bar is somewhere in the basement of the Paris sewers.
Unlikely.
cLyDeR relies on the Internet to make "points" and even then.. he has the world's knowledge at his fingertips and he still is wrong most of the time.
Not to mention his crippling social disorders.. he wouldn't be able to utter a word and probably shit his pants on stage.
Scaramucci said on his podcast that the reason Trump is off the campaign trail is because Trump is contacting members of his 2016 campaign team to try to get the band back together. Scaramucci says that, although there are devices called mobile phones that would allow a person to make calls while on the road, Trump prefers to sit at his desk to make important calls.
According to the RealClearPolitics 2016 record of polls, on this date in 2016 Clinton was ahead by 6.9 points in the RCP polling average. Today, Harris is ahead by 0.5 in the RCP average.
Some other current polling averages..
538 - Harris +2.3
RaceToTheWH - Harris +1.6
SilverBulletin - Harris +2.5
About a week after this date in 2016, Trump shook up his campaign staff. Trump removed Paul Manafort, who later went to jail, from the position of campaign manager. Trump replaced Manafort with Steve Bannon, who is currently in jail.
I expect Trump to repeat the 2016 strategy by shaking up his campaign in the next few days. Can he repeat the 2016 comeback to eke out another electoral college win?
I thought JD Vance did pretty well in this hostile interview. Like Trump, he seems to enjoy the fight and thrives on conflict.
It would be nice if we could see Harris or Walz do a similar type interview. Unfortunately they don’t take unscripted questions.
https://youtu.be/pK1V2q05Zi8?si=L2dwMQzX5qF6-yJE
Wait.. so Harris came out and said now SHE isn't going to tax tips when she gets into office?
What?
Why did her administration start going harder after tipped positions just last year...https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bid...n-waiters-tips
And now she wants to make tips tax free?
And why does this have to only start when she becomes President? Does she know she's Vice President currently and could get this started now?
Or is she holding your vote hostage in exchange for this concession?
Serious question: Like how dumb do you have to be to be a Democrat voter at this point? "We have to save democracy.. so we've forced the guy who won the primary out and now we have someone you've never voted for!"
Kamala will say anything to get elected and change the narrative to match favorably with her audience. Nobody knows what her actual policies and positions are. Her campaign website doesn’t provide any clarity on her political agenda.
Personally, I think not taxing on tips (without other changes to our tax system) is a bad idea. I know Trump said this and hope he either changes his mind or it doesn’t happen. The reason I think it’s a bad idea is tipping culture has gotten completely out of control since Covid, and not taxing on tips would only make that much worse.
Trump's stance is posted on his website here https://www.donaldjtrump.com/platform. Where can I find Kamala's policies, stance or even a generic statement of what she would do as President?
Honestly if she actually implements right leaning proposals such as these then I am all for her being president, especially if she goes back to her prosecutor days of actually holding criminals accountable.
Be like all Democrats do, she will promise anything to get elected then go right back to screwing poor and middle class Americans as much as possible.

Just remember... when she gets 92 million votes (they'll have to rig it so badly, they'll overshoot by 5-6 million+ to ensure Trump doesn't win)... YOU are the crazy one. Kamala is the most beloved candidate to ever run for President.
I was saying 92 million for Joe, but seeing as how Kamala has yet to receive even 1 vote for the 2024 elections... the fact she'll get 90+ million, just means you don't know how DEMOCRACY works.

As for those still-grumbling dissenters, "That's their problem," Pelosi said. "Not mine."
But keep on being fucking moron sheep for the Democrat machine... they appreciate your utter stupidity.
How many times has Trump backed out of this particular debate? His on-again, off-again wavering indecision is a sure sign of cognitive decline. A vote for Trump is a vote for President J.D. Vance.
Quote:
Former President Trump on Sunday raised questions about his participation in next month’s debate with Vice President Harris hosted by ABC News.
Trump, in a post on Truth Social, complained about the network’s panel and an interview host Jonathan Karl conducted with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on “This Week” to question why he should agree to do a debate hosted by the network.

Whose vote do you think you're going to change here, acting like a sheltered loser with severe mental illness who's desperate for attention 24/7?
When's Kamala gonna do an interview with anyone at all?
Stop being a stupid loser all day every day.
Set a goal to start that tomorrow, because you're already a stupid loser today.
Stupid loser.
How many days is Kamala going to go without a press conference and/or answering real questions? Her refusal to do anything except give the same repetitive vibe speeches without policy substance is a sure sign of her incompetence. Kamala’s handlers understandable that when she doesn’t have a teleprompter or a memorized script, she becomes burdened by what has been.
Who is running the country?
Biden just left his week-long vacation in Santa Ynez, California for Dover, Delaware, where he’ll head to Rehoboth Beach for a 9 day vacation. Since stating he dropped out of the race, 34 days ago, he’s spent just 6 days at the White House.
Will the Democrat party ever allow the voters to select their candidate ever again?
I mean, I understand that you don't trust yourself to select a candidate, because you're retarded. Of course, I wouldn't trust myself either after not noticing the previous candidate I supported belonged in a nursing home facility.
Now Harris, after making all this noise about having agreed to the debates and wanting to force Trumps had, is trying to change the rules that had previously been agreed upon by Biden. Either the previous agreement stands, in its entirety, or it doesn't. She is looking for a way out while trying to save face. They are hoping that running the 2020 Biden playbook will work again, but they do not have a pandemic to hide behind, oh wait, what about MONKEYPOX, will they look to use that to break voting laws?

I hope this gets brought up during the debate.
I wonder what he's doing right now? I'm imaging him strolling on the boardwalk wearing Ray-Bans and Skechers, savoring an ice cream cone. I see people waving to him through the protective ring of Secret Service agents. The waving onlookers are thanking him for lowering gas prices and creating jobs. Is he basking in their praise? No, he can spare no attention for frivolous praise. Instead, the Chief Executive's thoughts are evenly split between the vanilla ice cream and peace in the Middle East. Those things have a lot in common. Pursuing either of them too quickly is bound to cause headaches, but opportunities will melt away if there is excessive delay. He'll need to remember that for a speech. President Eisenhower said the way to solve an unsolvable problem is to make the problem bigger. Time to double back for a second scoop.
We really need a new term for "man child". I know it's supposed to be for someone who is legally an adult but still a child in behavior and attitude, I still think it stains the word man, especially in this case. Let's face it, there is nothing "man" about ClydeR and Seran and others who fall into this current category.
I guess this video just continues to show us how shitty the dems are:

And Democrats will all be like
https://themariaantoinette.com/wp-co...antoinette.gif
As the media helps hide this travesty of a candidate.. just so they can say we had a black woman President and believe that is accomplishment enough.
The bill Harris says she would sign was a bipartisan compromise. Her support for the bill as a whole does not mean that she enthusiastic about each and every element of the bill. Do you believe that Trump's vocal opposition the bill means that he opposes every element of the bill? By your logic, Trump flip flopped on the border wall by opposing this bill.
You're retarded.. thank you for stepping down your retard game while sErAn is probably being forced to shovel his feces out of his mom's basement.
Biden didn't need any bipartisan bill to put an end to the crisis at the southern border... as evidenced by the EOs he did in office the first week which created the crisis.. and the EOs he did earlier this year when it was election time.
Stop believing everything MSNBC forces down your wide open mouth from the "teevee" you fucking dipshit.
Should we go down the list of all the positions Kamala has supposedly flip flopped since 2020? Ban fracking? Medicare for all? Universal Basic Income? Open borders? Defund the police? Gun confiscation?
I’d love for Commie Kamala to answer why she is campaigning to be so different on policy today vs 4 years ago. Too bad she doesn’t take questions…
Hey ClydeRetard, what do you think about taxing unrealized gains?
https://i.imgur.com/McngVSw.png
https://x.com/wallstreetbets/status/1828837558111088905
For the life of me, I can't wrap my brain around this idea....
Doesn't this mean they would be taxing 401k's?
Which would basically diminish the reasoning for having a 401k...
Do you get money back from the Government if you have unrealized losses?
Do Democrats even understand this discourages people from investing?
https://media.tenor.com/KW0jLAbZd58A...e-al-bundy.gif
All we need now is a wealth tax and the government will own pretty much everything and yet still somehow they will be spending trillions dollars more every year than they take in from taxes.
I assume that is a reference to Biden's 2025 budget, as summarized below. Harris, as Biden's VP, has said that she supports the Biden budget. A proposal in that budget is a tax of 25% of unrealized gains of taxpayers whose wealth exceeds $100 million.
Quote:
Requires Billionaires to Pay at Least 25 Percent of Income in Taxes. Billionaires make their money in ways that are often taxed at lower rates than ordinary wage income, or sometimes not taxed at all, thanks to giant loopholes and tax preferences that disproportionately benefit the wealthiest taxpayers. As a result, many of these wealthy Americans are able to pay an average income tax rate of just 8 percent on their full incomes—a lower rate than many firefighters or teachers. To finally address this glaring inequity, the President’s Budget includes a 25 percent minimum tax on the wealthiest 0.01 percent, those with wealth of more than $100 million.
How many years of free labor would it take to pay the 35 trillion debt?
Of course that's after we confiscate all the 750 US billionaires wealth. (America's billionaires are now collectively worth a record $6 trillion.)
So, 29 trillion in debt, how much slave labor would it take to produce the GDP to pay off the 29 trillion?
So, when the people with over 100 million sell off their assets to pay the unrealized gains, the poors 401k will be blown up before they go home at the end of the workday.
The poors don't get to trade stock while they are out swinging hammers and assembling automobiles.
How many jobs get lost after the biggest stock selloff in US history?
How many deaths will be caused by the unemployment?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1448606/
You're thinking about it the wrong way, which is why you will never have to pay this particular tax. A decline is stock prices is a buying opportunity.
"Trading" stock is not the way to accumulate wealth.
Negative 10 million.
Zero.
The point is that billionaires are able to restructure their activities so that more of their income is in the form of capital gains, which are taxed at a lower rate than salary income.
And capital gains are not taxed at a flat rate. The federal capital gains tax has three rates. The top rate of 20% applies only to taxpayers whose incomes, including capital gains, exceed $500,000. It's actually a bit above $500,000, but I don't want to look it up. Only after that income level does the rate become flat.
Why is government unable to restructure it's activities so they don't have to steal peoples money?
https://media3.giphy.com/media/kGCuRgmbnO9EI/giphy.gif
The point is, you and all the Leftist pieces of shit are greedy, selfish, envious people who can't stand that your lives suck because of your own bad decisions. You arrogantly think you can manage other people's money better than they do. You want to return to a middle ages percent net value tax and despite your protestations, it will again hurt the poor more than anyone else. The "Rich" pay the majority of income tax, the majority of other taxes and yet, it's not enough because an average of 48% of people's gross income isn't enough in taxes, you want more.
Fuck off.
Why?
What about a schoolteacher, who in their lifetime, became worth $100 million?
What about BLM?
What about Roth IRAs?
What if you tax their unearned gains Dec 31st, and the first week of January the market bottoms out and 100% of the unearned gains is completely gone.
What if I have 200 million in unearned gains and only make 50k a year? How would I pay the taxes?
If you say fair share, you've already lost the argument.
He already lost the argument when he had to say "tax rate"...
SPOILER: 20% of $100,000,000.00 is much more than 20% of $60,000.00
Taxing unrealized gains at any income level is one of the dumbest ideas yet to come out of the Democrat party.
It's even dumber than Berkshire Hathaway's CEO saying he loves paying taxes and he wrote a tax check to the US government for 5 billion dollars.. and if 800 other companies did this.. they wouldn't have to tax the citizens!
What he didn't mention is that BH has an annual revenue of 400 billion dollars.. #6 in the world... and there isn't 799 other companies that have that type of revenue stream... or that 800 x 5 billion is only 4 trillion.. which would still produce a deficit of 2.13 trillion dollars with a Democrat in office as President....
But you still have the sErAn's and cLyDeR's of the world going:
https://themariaantoinette.com/wp-co...antoinette.gif
100%.
The Federal Tax rate should be a flat 18% for each and every person... No tricks, no gimmicks, go out and make as much as you can in your lifetime for you and your family - knowing you will only ever pay 18%.
There should be a Federal Tax rate of 3% on all "luxury goods" purchased (ie. jewelry, electronics, etc.) - no food, car, housing, maintenance stuff - that would be a flat %. If you earn more, you'll buy more things, which means you'll "pay more" overall - but you're not hiding anything from the people in hidden taxes.
State Taxes should be left to the States. People can make up their minds where they would like to live, what they would like to pay, and what services are provided by the State they chose... This is why we are a Republic... People should have choices of their local governance.
Lastly, the Federal Government should only convene twice a year - 3 months each period, on a "military base" style compound for them all to stay at (ie. a Fort Myers)... Individual rooms, etc... but they all are together to do the work of the People... - to amend/vote/produce Federal regulations. The remainder of the time, those officials should have to live in the Districts they represent... living by, with, and under the laws they, themselves, pass.
Will this ever happen? No.
Would this be fair? Yes.
Are the majority of people morons? Absolutely.
I used to think that, but there are a few things. Say the tax rate was flat 20% across the board. You have one guy making 30k a year, another guy making 1 million a year, yeah, that guy making a million is paying a lot more, but who cares, he still has 800k a year after that. That tax rate hurts that guy making 30k a lot more.
Facts.
Also it’s easy to keep us divided when retards like ClydeR believe that wealthy people owe him something and that it is morally justified to steal from them. What baffles me is the DNC sold luxury suites at the Chicago convention that STARTED at $500k. He thinks those rich people donating to that much to the Democrat party are doing so to get taxed more and receive more strict regulations & government oversight on their business?
https://media1.giphy.com/media/1267C...giphy.gif&ct=g
The guy making $30k a year is struggling regardless of paying 20% tax or not, and needs to find better employment to earn more.
I’m not saying it’s perfect, but the progressive tax system is worse. We know that super rich don’t actually pay the higher tax rate today. There are exemptions and loopholes. Rich people have the means and motivation to exploit those exemptions. On the other end, the reality is that most poor people receive much more in benefits vs. the little they pay in taxes. The real tax burden falls on the middle class which continues to shrink. We’ve created a tax system that encourages division & class warfare, and it’s the middle class that suffers the most.
I fully understand where you are coming from with this, but each and every person should pay in. A flat tax (why I went with 18%, not higher, and the # could be worked out by the accountants) is across the board.
Only making 30k? Go make more, but you're still going to pay.
Making 1 mil+? Go make more, but you're still going to pay.
The idea being (and yes there would be growing pains), the Government is not taking more from one person or the other. The Government is getting out of the way of people earning, and wanting to earn more for themselves and their family.
Just because someone makes less, which sucks, doesn't exempt them from their "societal responsibilities"... just as with someone making more, shouldn't be "stolen from" simply because they are earning more.
Transparent, no gimmicks, and no administrative state stepping on people year after year... In the long run, IMO, better.
Course I'm open to debate.
I'm sure they'd like to, but there are always going to be low paying jobs and some people will always be stuck in them. Every job can't be a winner. That said, I am not against something existing as a sort of an adjusted flat tax. Maybe graduated tax rates up to the median salary, and then a flat tax on all pay after that. So, low taxes on the first 45k (which is the median in the US), and then flat on everything after.
Agreed on the low paying jobs part. Please don’t take what I say as disparaging poor people. I’m just saying that it sucks to make $30k no matter what they pay in taxes.
On your progressive tax model up to $45k or so and then a flat tax rate after that (removing exemptions), I find that to be an amicable compromise. Sounds good to me.
Edit: The point being that after reaching the income level that exceeds the line of poverty, everyone pays the same rate together.
I'm open to suggestions definitely.
I'd be okay with a VAT tax style system 100%, if we were a smaller country. Due to just geographic, world involvement, and baseline standard of living currently in the Country... I'm not sure a VAT would resolve it all.
I also recommended a 3% "luxury tax" (ie. a VAT Tax), on top of the standard Federal Rate.
Maybe flip it... so we go with a say, 9% Federal Tax rate that all pay into... and a 15% VAT tax on luxury goods?
I could see maybe the "luxury tax" only applying if over a certain % of income per year?
Mainly, my overarching concept is to ensure everyone pays in at the Federal Level... for "shared federal responsibilities" that everyone benefits from... Though this would also require slashing 50% of the Federal Government, as I think they have their hands in too many pies as is... ie. National Defense, Federal Highway System, Judicial responsibilities with certain aspects to ensure even business practices, etc.... Besides that, 75% of things should be handled at the State level IMO.
I think you and I are sort of working towards a common "theme", though the details are where things have to be hashed out. And I'm all for differing ideas and concepts.
I look at Norway and Sweden, two countries the left lauds as socialist even though their respective leaders have come out and clearly stated they are capitalist with heavy social programs. Now i forget which is which but one of those countries taxes start at 22% and the other I believe is 32% and EVERYONE pays those rates to start. Then they have additional taxes on higher earners. Frankly I think we need a flat 15-18%, do your taxes on a postcard, and abolish the IRS, but that will never happen.
The main reason I want it is because unless you have skin in the game, ie. actually paying for the government instead of paying nothing and in a lot of cases actually getting money back they never put in, they could care less how much money the federal government spends since it will never impact them, that is until the whole house of cards collapses and it does.
All of Europe's social support system would collapse if they actually had to pay the real cost of their defense. European healthcare is subsidized by US military spending. The up side is that American troops and companies got the most of that money. The down side is ignorant dumbasses look at it and claim that we should have that too. Well, we might could if they paid their fair share in the world of defense spending.
American defense spending goes primarily to US company's that sell weapons and to troop pay. Or are you unaware of who gets those multi trillion defense spending projects? Percentage wise, not a lot of it goes to foreign companies and the cash paid to rent bases and pay locals is a also a small percentage compared to the other spending. So yeah, math is a thing. Why the fuck else would defense companies be spending loads on lobbying and bribes to get those contracts?
I grew up being encouraged by my parents to think that the military was a wise life path option once out of high school, I instilled that same idea with my children. Today, there is no way I would encourage my grandchildren to join the military.
I think when my daughter was considering joining the NAVY her starting salary would have been like...24k?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ZFFaTScBs
Emphasis added for the reading comprehension impaired. And assuming that troop pay is say, 1/6th of the defense budget, it is still a LOT more than we pay to rent bases, pay foreigners and for defense contracts to foreign companies. But you keep failing at reading.
When I served, call me a geek or whatever... I actually believed in the principles and concepts that we operated under.
Was I naive? Yes.
Did it matter when I was actually serving? No.
Would I recommend anyone willingly serve the Country with the current political and social climate? Hell no.
Principles, norms, and respect are out the fucking window. Common sense is vilified. Our "elected leaders" have absolutely zero care for anything other than retaining power.
The US is done, it's just deciding to die slowly.
No, you specifically see where I put ... instead of having companies in the quote. Maybe you didn't read before you went full retard, but that is to be expected. I never one time, in any of the posts, denied that companies didn't make money from the DoD blasting funding around different regions. That isn't the area I was discussing, that is why I left it out. YOU kept trying to interject it back in.
The troops, on the other hand, are generally kept paid to keep up with inflation. A higher budget or a lower budget wouldn't change that much.
I can't imagine that this debate still goes on. Harris needs to come down with Covid or Trump needs to be taken out.
Trump didn't help himself yesterday, saying if he's elected, he wants to audit the entire federal government with Musk leading the commission?
JFK said he was going to take a looksie at the CIA and dissolve it after the Bay of Pig fiasco .. and look how that ended up? Trump said he wants to audit the entire federal government to look where all the money is being spent?
That's a gigantic bullseye you just painted on yourself.
Taking stock of the latest polls, I see this interesting poll from Texas. The latest poll from Texas shows Trump leading Harris by just 3 points. In the Texas Senate race, Cruz leads Allred by 4 points. Am I the only one shocked by that result? Although this is the most recent and closest poll, other pollsters have shown an increasingly narrowing lead for Trump in Texas over the past few weeks.
Every 4 years people ask if Texas is becoming a purple state. The answer is still no. Conservative minded people have better things to do than to waste their time with media polls. Those hippie fags down in Austin don’t run shit in my state.
Edit: Colin Allred was my rep in Dallas before they redrew the map. Fuck that guy.
Trump implies that candidate height should be a relevant consideration for voters..

No boxes or artificial lifts will be allowed to stand on during my upcoming debate with Comrade Kamala Harris. We had this out previously with former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg when he was in a debate, and he was not allowed a “lift.” It would be a form of cheating, and the Democrats cheat enough. “You are who you are,” it was determined!
It really is wild. Like why not just post on his main account at this point?
To be fair maybe he really is following Stephen Colbert's career to a T.
Stephen Colbert is a far leftist who got his career by pretending to be a far rightie, which is what Clyder did.
Stephen Colbert has now taken the mask completely off and is such an unhinged leftist lunatic that he literally sings and dances on his show to promote Pfizer's vaccine, and now Clyder whores himself out just like Stephen Colbert does, but Clyder does it for free.
This sort of thing could be why Texas is turning purple..
I wonder if the Texas AG is secretly a Harris supporter?Quote:
Texas has sued the Biden administration to try to block a federal rule that shields the medical records of women from criminal investigations if they cross state lines to seek abortion where it is legal.

It didn't take long for Trump to lose his temper.
He should be angry defending States rights against an Imperialist overlord. Well done thus far, minus the immigration crap into every retort.
Trump keeps taking the bait. He used to be too smart for that.
He even said immigrants are eating people's cats. He failed to mention mini pigs.
She thinks that Dick and Liz Cheney are good names to mention?
Their approach was to antagonize Trump into being antagonized Trump and then literally take Trump policy. She actually just stated a pro-US oil policy, one which anyone who hears it should realize its an outright lie to purvey votes.
Trump is losing so badly that he is now asking Harris to end the debate early.
Fake news, it's been a shit show, and that much is clear. I'm sure both sides are making a fortune and would never want to end it early.
If she is so great about disliking Hamas and Iranian threats, why did they hand over cash to them?
The billions only went to humanitarian* efforts!
*at the Ayatollah's discretion.
So far, this debate shows the value of preparation. Harris clearly prepared, including having a list of points designed to enrage Trump. She has delivered those points effectively. Trump is just riffing like at his rallies. It is not effective in this context, and his lack of preparation is obvious.
Overall I don't think this went well. Trump was far too emotional, far too influenced by the baiting of the questioning. Harris was not much better, but she played the typical opposition card well.
Personally, I'm highly disappointed that the real economics facing everyday peoples weren't in focus.
If the Trump tax cuts are allowed to expire, I face a 7% higher tax rate than I pay now.
If the state and local tax deduction cap (SALT) is allowed to expire, my tax burden increases exponentially versus my per capita usage vs big money coastal states.
I didn't hear what I wanted to hear.
Remember how Trump kept saying for his 4-year term that he would announce his health care plan in two weeks? He just said he would announce it in the "very near future." He said he has "concepts" for a plan but refused to describe them. Isn't it finally time?
Harris won big.
I do wish Trump hadn't taken the bait as often as he did but they kept trotting out old narratives that have been thoroughly debunked time and again. If he doesn't answer them then anyone hiding under a rock watching for the first time believes them. Kamala did OK at times but often seemed like she was just trying to run circles filling the time, occasionally going down a path she had already lost. Trump not having a path forward on healthcare was a definite L for him, he will need to publicly release something soon. As with everything in this cycle the mainstream media will declare her the winner and Trump supporters will declare him the winner. I hope the truly independents see through the bullshit.
That really got me, he kept attacking Harris about what has she done in the White House? Yet he had 4 years, plus 3 years and some change, and all he could come up with was “concepts of a plan”? I expect to see that everywhere going forward. That was a big L moment for him.
She is asking for another debate. I want to see him accept on condition he picks the network, maybe no moderators, live audience, standing or sitting, no notes. When she declines, he should say she is too weak to really debate without 2 aids in the room.
She beat the expectations... that's about it. Her expectations were she would make retarded word salads and answer none of the questions.
She had no really bad word salads and answered a couple of the questions.
cLyDeR "OMG SHE WON!"
It was 3 v 1 and Trump still held his own.
Soon? You mean in the next two weeks? Trump's lack of a healthcare plan is one of the great cons of presidential history. While he was running in 2016 and throughout his presidency, he repeatedly promised that he was just about to, usually in two weeks, release his proposed healthcare plan, which he said was finished and just waiting for the finishing touches. Finally, belatedly, people are starting to catch on that he never had a plan. His answer last night was laughable.
Quote:
VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS: The former president has said something twice and I need to respond too. I just need to respond one time to what he has said multiple times.
LINSEY DAVIS: I'm sorry, we're going to move on, Vice President Harris. This is now your third time running for president. you have long vowed to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. You have failed to accomplish that. You now say you're going to keep Obamacare. Quote, unless we can do something much better. Last month you said, quote, we're working on it. So tonight, nine years after you first started running, do you have a plan and can you tell us what it is?
FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Obamacare was lousy health care. Always was. It's not very good today. And what I said, that if we come up with something, we are working on things, we're going to do it and we're going to replace it. But remember this. I inherited Obamacare because Democrats wouldn't change it. They wouldn't vote for it. They were unanimous. They wouldn't vote to change it. If they would have done that, we would have had a much better plan than Obamacare. But the Democrats came up, they wouldn't vote for it. I had a choice to make when I was president, do I save it and make it as good as it can be? Never going to be great. Or do I let it rot? And I felt I had an obligation, even though politically it would have been good to just let it rot and let it go away. I decided -- and I told my people, the top people, and they're very good people -- I have a lot of good people in this -- that administration. We read about the bad ones. We had some real bad ones too. And so do they. They have really bad ones. The difference is they don't get rid of them. But let me just explain. I had a choice to make do I save it and make it as good as it can be or let it rot? And I saved it. I did the right thing. But it's still never going to be great. And it's too expensive for people. And what we will do is we're looking at different plans. If we can come up with a plan that's going to cost our people, our population less money and be better health care than Obamacare, then I would absolutely do it. But until then I'd run it as good as it can be run.
LINSEY DAVIS: So just a yes or no, you still do not have a plan?
FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: I have concepts of a plan. I'm not president right now. But if we come up with something I would only change it if we come up with something better and less expensive. And there are concepts and options we have to do that. And you'll be hearing about it in the not-too-distant future.

If you're an ardent Trump supporter, you know what you have to do. You have to go to Ohio and hire a Haitian to eat a cat on teevee. That's the only way Trump can win.
I just rewatched the part about people in Ohio stealing cats and dogs and eating them, I saw it on TV!… just what the fuck? I can’t believe he really said that shit in a presidential debate. A big L for him.
So are you saying the news is fake?
Not a word salad per se but she exclaimed that she has a plan about 80 billion times.
Honestly I think Trump handled the debate very well. He attacked Harris horrible record as VP and Senator which she is desperately trying to distance herself from.
Of course I am biased and saw it one way, and liberals saw it another. I can’t imagine this debate changing anyone’s mind. Either you want at best a continuation of Biden administration policies & at worst a more radical progressive agenda, or you want a return of Trump’s America first policies.
I’m confused on what this 3 vs 1 claim is based on?
Was it because Trump was fact checked a total of THREE times in an almost 2 hour debate?
1. Illegals are stealing peoples cats and dogs and eating them.
2. Laws allowing an abortion after a baby is born?
3. An abortion ban being wanted by 89% of all the people including Democrats.
Those are ridiculous, outlandish claims and outright bullshit lies.
Please quote one, just one completely crazy outlandish lie that Harris made, that is just complete utter bullshit, that is on the same level on anything they fact checked him on.
I mean, she wants to do gender changing surgery on illegal immigrants in prison? Where the hell does he get this shit?
He just spews absolute nonsense.
More than one resident of Springfield Ohio made those claims at City Hall.
Is the Venezuelan gang taking over an apartment complex in Aurora Colorado also fake? There is video evidence and independent reports from journalists supporting that claim, and yet the police, government, and mainstream media denies it.
Link? Because so far I’ve found nothing that supports that. City manager has said the claims are bullshit and Vance even said it as well. I repeat, Trump’s own vice president has admitted that it’s most likely bullshit, and not true.
This entire thing stems from a Facebook post:
Facebook posts on local crime-watch groups started making similar claims, with one supposed resident whose post went viral saying their "daughter's friend" had seen Haitians eating her cat and that local authorities had said they were doing the same with ducks and geese.
Additionally, an alleged case of someone attacking a cat in Canton, Ohio in August has been falsely attributed by people online to a Haitian immigrant in Springfield.
And the authorities already said it was not true.
Harris repeatedly lied as well. The one that most comes to mind immediately is that she never supported the abolishment of private health care. There are videos of her saying that is her position. As Senator she coauthored the Medicare for all Bill.
She has also previously said she supports a mandatory buyback of assault weapons (a fancy Dem word for gun confiscation) and now denies that or avoids the question.
She wants to abolish fracking and that has been her position until just recently.
She has claimed to seek decriminalization for illegally crossing our border (a fancy Dem term for supporting open borders).
I can go on and on. ABC never pressed nor corrected Kamala Harris.
