People like you who are full of hatred are a weight on society's progress. Whats going to make you happy?

Yeah, so those people who write the history books, are the be all, end all? Lol idiot. That doesn’t change the fact that terrorists and patriots are just a matter of perspective, not who won or lost. I guess the British are terrorist! I mean every country is a terrorist! Americans are terrorists! We lost in Vietnam! Fuck, you are an idiot, but do carry on looking like the idiot you are, it’s quite funny. this is almost as bad as your quarantine and isolation fuck up.
To be honest, this isn't even the worst thing these terrorists have done in recent months.
This was spontaneous and fueled by Trump's pep rally where he whipped them all up.
Remember these same terrorists blew up a building in downtown Nashville and plotted to kidnap a governor.
Many nations have a minority group that believes their government is illegitimate, but they don't actually have meaningful power/outlet for their grievances, and they turn to terrorism. See, e.g., Chechens in Russia, Basques in Spain, etc. I'm worried that's what we're developing in America and that this is just the beginning.
Of course you're familiar with this:
"First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out, because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me, and there was no one left, to speak out for me."
That's not why you should reconsider.
You should reconsider because these people you're giving aid and comfort to aren't even bothering to get past the first line.
They're calling Vice President Pence, a Republican's Republican if there ever was one, a Communist.
This is a man who served as a US Representative, Republican Conference Chairman, Governor, and Vice President.
And they sent a mob (this is an actual mob, not a Twitter "mob") after him.
What do you think they'll do to you?
Well, it's clear that primary objective was to commit suicide via explosion in his RV in downtown Nashville. Which sounds an awful lot like a suicide bombing and/or terrorism to me, but I guess since he's white and Trumpy it's not.
But no, I haven't seen any sign of his motive(s) being disclosed yet, while the media venerates him as the "Nashville Bomber".
If his motive was to spread fear to accomplish a political or religious goal, it is terrorism. That hasn't be sorted out yet though, so it can't be labeled terrorism until it is.
I don't know why you seem to think "Nashville bomber" is a proud title. Seems no better than any other lowlife term.
Suicide bombing, yes, clearly. Not denying that.
Terrorism has a specific definition, one that has been pointed out to you multiple times on this forum, and one that has not been met, yet.
Apparently, though, you are super-eager to see a white man labeled as a terrorist. That is rather racist of you.
Racist.
It's pretty interesting seeing the Republican party imploding over Trump's act of sedition yesterday. We've got loyalists led by the PC Q-cumber crowd, Sean Hannity as cheerleader and Ted Cruz valiantly holding the burner MAGA hat. On the other side, we've got Romney, Liz Cheney, and common sense, realizing they've just backed a total traitor and sociopath for the last four years.
Clearly there's some who think that if they turn on Cheeto, they'll never been reelected again. Yet there are those pointing to senators in Alaska and Maine who realize that not only does standing up for reason worthwhile, but common sense says the majority of America will have moved on within a year at most.
He encouraged them, even lied and said he'd be with them....
"And after this, we're going to walk down there, and I'll be there with you, we're going to walk down ... to the Capitol and we are going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women," Trump told the crowd. "And we're probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. Because you'll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong."
I can't believe that most of the petulant children that entered the capitol building illegally were able to go home that night. I know they couldn't arrest them all.. but get names and address and tell them to expect a summons to federal court soon.
I just can't get over how different the reaction would be if a left leaning group of protesters pulled this stunt.
Remember "When the looting starts, the shooting starts"? They had motherfuckers looting the capital building!!
But no.. when its Trump supporters doing it, its "We love you. You are very special." Then they get to go home and sleep in their own bed after desecrating our democracy.
I'm just glad that seems to have been a somewhat of a wake-up call some republicans. Seems like then party is trying to distance it's self from trump now(finally).. I guess we'll see. In my circles of republican colleagues that I respect, so far it seems like that stunt yesterday was too far most of them.
I can only guess that our Trump cult friends that post here have been wracking their brains trying to come up with ways to justify this. That somehow Trump and his fascist right wing gaggle of racist white trash dim wits are right about election fraud. While all bipartisan, non partisan, democrat and republican election offices, judges, state assemblies, and on and on have said that vote is correct.
What a black eye for America though. Invoke the 25th, impeach and remove. Put everyone that trespassed in separate trails.
hmm. is it a black eye for America sure. So has the last 4 years with the riots and burnings. Some people possibly Trump fans possibly some plantss broke some windows and caused some damage. Should that have happened hell no. However it just worked right into the demorats hands, just like the election. Weird. conspiracy theory sure. Time will tell if I am wrong. At least one of the people in the captiol building was at a blm rally in Arizona according to new sources.
Do i think this could have been taken advantage of by demorats i sure do. We will never know I am sure. Just like in antifa and blm "rallies" paid people were there i am sure. Call me an idiot call me trumper I don't care. Oh by the way I just want my freedoms, i am not a fan of Trump. Killary was a bad choice and so is harris/biden. Term Limits for all. Enjoy the 51st state, your elecetoral college gone, your court system gone, and your freedoms gone.
I love my country, but this country needs an overhaul.
So you're not a fan of Trump but you believe all his conspiracy theories..
https://thtswhatsheread.files.wordpr...n-hamm-nod.gif
you believe your stupidity i will believe mine because we are all just being controlled by democrats and republicans alike.
We don't need time to tell and we do know. Trump supporters did more than just break a few windows and cause some damage. It was an assault on Congress in the act of counting electoral votes. It was straight up insurrection of the United States of America. Break a few windows? Fuck outta here.
Trump supporters before this event were all about action on Jan 6th and now that they did and are all caught on camera and facing lockup they are trying to claim antifa plants did it or that the police baited them into it. Thats absolute cowardly ass bullshit. Not surprised. Anyone saying they want civil war on the streets is talking out their ass.
Don't be a liberal.
There were no secret liberal plants... these were MAGA malcontents crying over the election results. They are no better than the malcontents who burned cities and businesses this year.
Call it for what it is, don't excuse their piss poor behavior.
you are wrong park. and Back you are an idiot. however we all know this. This was not a coup. That could still be coming. you don't take a few people and try to supposedly take over one building giving them time to get away if you are doing a coup. Unless i don't understand how coups work. Once again it shouldn't have happened but it was far from insurrection or a coup
PB is the only one with some balls on the Republican side here to call this for what it is.
Tgo is just stuck on whataboutism mode.
This is dangerous thinking. So now, anyone with any kind of grievence against the US government can just forcibly break into the US Capitol, ransack it, and thats just no big deal to you? Can the mafia do that? Can the Navajo Nation do that? Can granny and her knitting circle do that? No fucking way is it ok or no big deal.
Corroboration from another source: 51% of adults support President Trump being immediately removed from office "for promoting this unrest."
Congratulations- you have demonstrated that you have nothing to offer.
But I'll help you out here. The problem with Communist and Socialist countries during the Cold War wasn't the socialism/economic systems. After all, China has a socialist economy, and it's the second largest economy in the world. At the time Russia had one of the biggest economies in the world.
It was exactly what I already brought up (which you apparently missed or didn't understand): they weren't (and still aren't) free societies. THAT'S what was, and is, wrong with them.
They are, and were, under single party rule and had no democratic form of government. Even today, Russia *technically* has a democracy, but the government has full control over the elections and is a big fan of adding ballots. And the Legislative bodies are terrified of defying Putin because they tend to disappear when they do (which means the leader of the country also controls the legislature with fear...which should sound really familiar). China technically has multiple parties, but the Chinese Communist Party is the official state party. It directs everything, and the other political parties are allowed to exist as long as they don't act like opposition parties. And the Chinese Communist Party ultimately determines the highest levels of leadership in the country (not on paper but absolutely in practice).
And here's why this matters: because somewhere along the way you all got your brains scrambled and started believing that Capitalism meant libertarianism, and that socialism refers to the government providing social services to its people. And now you, for absolutely insane and inexplicable reasons, have decided that helping people in need is evil and oppression. But having government that provides services to its people was A) never something exclusive to socialist/communist countries AT ALL and B) not remotely why people attacked those systems of government to begin with.
Actually what was, and is, wrong with the truly socialist and communist countries is the lack of free and fair elections for the highest levels of office, the existence of either an official or defacto state party, and the lack of free press and an independent judiciary. They're the same things that are wrong with Poland (which is turning into a crisis in the EU) and Hungary.
And it's literally what the GOP has been focusing on. Gerrymandering states so heavily that the opposition party needs 70% of the vote to control 50% of the seats. Massive voter suppression initiatives aimed at disenfranchising groups that are less likely to vote for them. Stacking the Courts with highly ideological judges, many of whom are unqualified for the job but who can be counted on to render certain decisions. Attacking the free press and calling them "the enemy of the people". And trying to overturn legitimate democratic elections in order to ensure their President can stay in power, despite the will of the people.
So not only do none of you actually know what Marxism, Socialism, or Communism is. You've completely missed the point of why people have been so against those things. In fact the party you support has become increasingly anti-democratic and is doing the same things that turned people against real Socialist/Communist/Marxist countries.
No I'm totally on board with this new fangled terminology all the cool kids are using these days. This was a largely peaceful protest. I mean shit, considering the only person who fired a gun was a police officer, the only person who was injured/murdered was an innocent civilian, and no private property was destroyed or looted, I would say this is the actual definition of largely peaceful, unlike the leftist led "largely peaceful" riots that have been going on for months.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreak...ing_to_breach/
https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreak...ing_woman_not/
Totally peaceful breaking of windows and climbing over the barricade by said peaceful and innocent citizen.
Except that it was an attempted coup. Or, rather, the latest step in one.
Trump going on a massive PR campaign to destabilize public faith in our elections because he lost was part of a coup. Trump calling up State Legislatures and asking them to ignore their voters and appoint state electors who were loyal to Trump was part of a coup. Trump supporting cases that asked our Judiciary to literally invalidate MILLIIONS of votes so he could win was part of a coup. Trump calling up the Secretary of State in Georgia after the vote had been certified (audited AND hand counted) and telling him to "find" the exact number of votes he would have needed to have won was part of a coup. Trump loyalists in Congress repeating false election fraud conspiracy theories and then trying to overturn the electors with no actual evidence, so Trump could win was part of a coup. Trump publicly pressuring Mike Pence to invalidate the electoral votes in the states he didn't win to keep him in power was part of a coup. (also showed no understanding of the Constitution)
And yes, gathering 30,000 people to the Capitol for a rally timed to end right before the final electoral college vote was certified by Congress, telling them they needed to "be strong"; "never give up"; "take their country back", and go through "trial by combat" (that was Giuliani but was said at his rally) knowing full well there were armed militia groups in attendance, and pointing them to the United States Capitol to disrupt the count...was part of a coup.
And telling them that he loved them, and they were special, and refusing to activate the National Guard for the first hour or two...was part of a coup.
And it's just so sad to watch otherwise reasonable people look at a sitting US President engaging in the most seditious act they could possibly engage in, and saying "Oh that wasn't a coup".
Dude. Understand the scene. Behind that officer that fired is the vice president and the vice president elect. They've baracaded the doors with every piece of furniture they could find, and they're still bashing windows and trying to get in
The same mob that was screaming "Hang pence", and in your twisted world view this was an innocent person shot.
Again. You only think there are two political sides. I called out the retarded riots over the summer too. This is largely the same.
Remember when I pointed out that you don't seem to know much about politics and rarely contribute any constructive political insight? And that it's not really clear why you're even here?
I wasn't looking for more evidence to support that assessment, but thanks I guess?
You have to imagine what was going on in the heads of everyone inside. They probably had limited information about how many people were outside trying to get in. How would any of us feel trapped in a building with a raging mob busting in the windows and doors? How would anyone feel hearing and seeing this raging mob getting past the heavily armed security of that building? They had no way of knowing if it was just a couple of knuckleheads with a flag or a massive force of heavily armed men.
Let's be clear. We agree murder is bad. I'm glad we can agree on that.
I disagree with you that, as a whole, what that group of racist white trash idiots did.. assult the foundational bedrock of our democracy because they didn't like the result of the election... That to me is a million times worse than murder, it strikes the heart of what we should believe in as Americans. Freedom and Justice for all.
But, if you think they were a million times better than whoever you want to put against them.. I say again, fuck you traitor.
Guys, tgo01 ended 2020 as a massive loser, and started 2021 as an even bigger one, he’s just venting his frustration of all that losing... wait I thought Trump promised him nothing but winning? It’s ok tgo01, it’ll be ok.. just turn off OAN and Newsmax, the withdraw symptoms will be tough at first, but they will fade... maybe.
Trump released a video talking about healing. Fuck that guy. Seriously fuck that guy. I really hope Congress is successful in impeaching that idiot and never letting him run for anything ever again.
Was she holding an onion in her right hand wrapped in a towel, while crying about being maced? Hmm.
Inquiring minds don't really give a fuck. But it's a rumor going around about her and it's kinda funny.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/el...e-onion-towel/
Um.. they weren't innocent.
They stormed the Capitol hell bent on violence.
While I don't condone anyone being killed (and I certainly wouldn't joke and celebrate another human being dying like some scumbags here did), the rioters need to take responsibility for their actions. Did they believe they were going to break in and have afternoon tea?
They were lucky the Mayor and other officials were painfully unprepared for this.
So after a summer of complaining about protests over cops killing multiple innocent unarmed people you suddenly decide that NOW after a bunch of racist hillbilly fucks with the internet planning for months to do something at this Jan 6th protest break into and ransack the US Capitol and get shot is your tipping point?
I hate to say it to you little buddy. Your concerns seem a bit selective and I think I see the big difference.
She was unarmed and not doing anything at the time to warrant being shot. This is being swept under the rug because disgusting people such as time4fun label her a Nazi. During any leftwing riot they would be calling for the officers involved to be fired and tried for murder.
So what you're saying is you're okay with police murdering innocent civilians just as long as they murder someone you deem to be a "racist hillbilly fuck"? You know that "racist hillbilly fuck" served her country with honor in the military right? Something you know nothing about.
Yeah, fuck you, you worthless shit stain.
Gee I can't possibly imagine why I don't want to be seen as "one of the good ones" by you bunch of miserable fucks. I wear it as a badge of honor every time one of you assholes say something like "OMG! I can't believe Tgo01 is acting like this! Other Republicans aren't acting like this!"
Fuck you. Sitting here referring to a murdered woman as a “racist hillbilly fuck” isn’t you saying you’re okay with it?
Again fuck you. Get some damned perspective on what it takes to be a decent human being. To do that to you will have to turn off cable “news” and delete all of your social media. You are clearly easily brainwashed and they have done on a number on you.
One of the scarier things about this whole situation is just how close Trump got to overturning the election.
Fortunately the effort was doomed because of the current makeup of Congress. But even after he incited a riot and sent them to attack Congress, 145 Congressional Republicans voted to invalidate the Pennsylvania electoral vote. Before it happened, there were at least 14 Senators who were willing to vote to invalidate several state elections. (basically every swing state Trump lost)
Imagine if the GOP had a strong majority in the House and Senate. Imagine the GOP version of the 2008 election.
With the approval of those objections in the House assured, how many more GOP Senators would have jumped on board? It's easy to not sign on when you know it's not going to go through. But how many of them would have been willing to risk being accused of being the Senator who kept Trump from having a second term by their Republican base? Most of them either refused to criticize his rhetoric about the election or actively participated in pushing the lies themselves.
We've witnessed 4 years of Senate Republicans being too afraid to stand up to Trump no matter how bad things got out of fear of being primary'd on the right. If the insurrection attempt hadn't happened, there's no reason to expect they would have magically grown spines or a conscience.
How differently that could all have played out.
Calling her whatever is NOT condoning her murder. I don't know where you got that idea because it certainly isn't anywhere near what I've said. I'm over here saying innocent unarmed people should not be shot and killed by cops and you keep saying I wanted that woman shot. And you are the one telling me "fuck you"?
Again fuck you. Be a decent human being. Want to know a real easy way to be a decent human being? Read ALL of time4fun's posts and do and think the exact opposite of whatever she posts.
Real simple. Try it. Maybe you'll be happier in life instead of being the kind of miserable fuck who applauds murder because people like time4fun told you the woman deserved to be murdered because she was supposedly a racist.
They found pipe bombs in front of the DNC and RNC offices. They found a van with 10 Molotov cocktails.
They were definitely prepared. Fortunately we found those things before they went off, but yesterday was fucking serious.
What Trump did was on track to be one of the worst domestic terrorism incidents on American soil. And he told those people he loved them and called them patriots.
I think it's really worth keeping that in mind.
Capitol Police officer died. Struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by a guy that probably has blue lives matter stickers all over his car.
This is all correct. All the people talking about white privilege on display at the capital...an unarmed white woman was shot and killed. Where was her privilege? It's almost like cops/agents aren't really racists and people just shouldn't break the law if they don't want to face possibly severe consequences. I have no sympathy for the woman. If you're going to come, come correct or don't come. She knew the risks. But that suit that shot her...he's a murderer, imo, from the video I saw, and I look forward to seeing him tried for murder. If there is context missing from the video I saw and he's exonerated, then so be it, but I'm satisfied to trust the system to see justice served.
See what I mean? All of the leftists here who normally cry and whine when there is an officer involved shooting, are now saying they are okay with cops murdering people as long as they are murdering people they don't like.
The Democrat party is nothing but legit terrorism now. Maybe other countries should start classifying the Democrat party as terrorists, because they sure as fuck are more dangerous than the Taliban or Al-Qaeda could have ever dreamed to be.
This has been pointed out to you again and again and again.
This past election was a terrible night for Democrats. As a reminder, Democrats were projected to beat Trump by at least 8 points, pick up 10-15 House seats, add control of two more State Legislatures, and to gain up to 6 Senate seats.
What actually happened is Trump outperformed expectations by at least 4 points, the Dems lost House Seats, lost control of two State Legislatures, and only picked up 3 Senate seats on election night. And the only reason why they picked up the Georgia seats is because Trump has been acting like a maniac trying to undermine our democracy.
So no, things absolutely did not work out like the left wanted.
But, to your point, our democracy held up in large part because of the Democratic party and its voters (You're welcome). And if you had even a sliver of patriotism or reverence for democracy left in you, you wouldn't be acting like a petulant child over the fact that they didn't, at the end of the day, manage to overturn a free and fair election.
yawn leftist nutjob. I am just saying before the (attack on the captiol) there were a number of senators willing to sign the paper invalidating votes. Then after the convenient attack they wouldnt' anymore. yes it probably was a bunch of mornoic racist jackasses. however it makes me wonder. and that is also my right.
Makes you wonder what, exactly?
And before you answer that question, let me remind the class of a few things:
1) Trump gathered tens of thousands of his most fervent supporters for a "Save America" march to the Capitol on the exact date and time Congress was scheduled to certify the election that Trump lost
2) He knew there were armed white nationalist militia groups there
3) He pointed them to the Capitol and they were told to "stay strong", "never give up", "They're" busy stealing your freedom over there", "today is trial by combat"
4) When he found out what they were attacking the Capitol Building of the United States of America, he called them patriots and told them he loved them.
5) He refused to authorize the National Guard to intervene for an hour and a half
6) Multiple outlets are reporting that his aides found him borderline gleeful while he watched it
So tell us Beld- what are you wondering right now?
I did serve. I don't think she was a racist Nazi, nor do I think she deserved to die.
However, there are, sadly, racists in our military. They often get kicked out, but some slip through the cracks. Let's be clear about this: being a vet doesn't mean you are automatically a wonderful person. Sure, it does give some tick marks in the honorable person column, but those can be outweighed by other dishonorable actions.
So apparently Trump went crawling back to Twitter and released a video in which he threw everyone at the capitol building under the bus and "called for peace", even as Democrats are demanding he be removed from office even before January 20th and of course the Democrats are STILL blaming him for the "violence" from yesterday. Meanwhile Biden and the rest of the disgusting Democrats get away with calling for violence for the past several years and have NEVER, NOT FUCKING ONCE, condemned the violence their side has committed against Republicans.
Fuck Trump. In his final weeks in office he became just another spineless Republican, so desperate to curry the favor of actual human scum such as time4fun.
I'm sure there are racists in the military. But she served 14 years and I have seen exactly zero information stating she is even the slightest bit racist, just a bunch of leftists flapping their gums. So unless despicable people such as Back have some actual information that she was a racist or was a horrible human being in some other way, I'm gonna go ahead and assume she served her country honorably.
Oh wow, apparently NPR themselves is the one who lied (oh wait..."reported wrong") and is now backtracking on that "mistake".
Report Of U.S. Capitol Police Officer's Death Inaccurate
Quote:
U.S. Capitol Police say the report that one of its officers had died after being assaulted by violent protesters loyal to President Trump is not accurate. NPR incorrectly reported the death based on information from a well-placed source.
"Although some officers were injured and hospitalized yesterday, no USCP officers have passed away," Capitol Police said in a statement. "We ask that our officers' and their families' privacy be respected at this time. Should a statement become necessary, the Department will issue one at the appropriate time."
Just a reminder to assholes like Back who claimed everything was just fine in January of 2017, here is just one of millions of pictures of what it really looked like after left wing terrorists descended upon the city during Trump's inauguration:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ErJ_ETUV...jpg&name=small
How disgusting leftist news rags are reporting on the murder of Ashli Babbitt:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ErLgNZeX...jpg&name=large
Say her name, Back!
Another data point for you, Shaps. Tgo01 obviously is far right but he's not at the edge of the spectrum, it's a solid 20% of the country who believes as he does.
And another data point for how seriously my fellow Republicans are taking this: the actual Wall Street Journal is now calling for the President's resignation.
It's easy for you to dismiss things when it's liberals on one side and conservatives on the other. (It shouldn't be, but it is.)
We are incredibly far from such a neat division here: a Republican President, a former Republican Presidential candidate, Republican Senators, Republican Representatives, Republican media, Republican Cabinet members...
H*ck, I can't think of a Republican group that HASN'T had prominent members denounce the President's behavior yesterday.
Not a single one of them is wringing their hands about Commie Joe Biden.
So why is that your focus?
Seems like it wasn't that long ago...oh wait because it was just a few months ago...that leftwing terrorists tried to breach the White House and Trump had to be escorted to the White House bunker.
Remember all of the leftists condemning the attacks on the White House and saying attacking the center of our democracy was unimaginable? Oh wait, no, what I recall was a bunch of leftist retards mocking Trump for "hiding in his bunker."
Meanwhile they cry and whine and bitch because members of Congress had an up close and personal look for the first time at the people they have been fucking over their entire political careers.
Fuck you Democrats.
That's a pretty serious objection! Let's see how reliable polls with that sample size are.
The most recent election was actually two elections, Senate run-offs in the great state of Georgia.
In 538's database the most recent poll with "less than 1400" was a 1250 piece from Fabrizio Ward that predicted Warnock +1 (he actually won by 2) and Ossoff +1 (right on the money).
The most recent poll with "under 600" was a 578 piece from Mellman Group that predicted ties in each.
Now, it's fair to say that both cases slightly underrated the Reverend but when we're talking about 66% obviously 1% or 2% doesn't really matter, and even when we're talking 50% when the error goes the other way (those shy Democrats at it again) it doesn't seriously change the assessment, right?
Opposition to marijuana puts me in the rightmost 33%.
Support of surveillance puts me in the rightmost 50%, as does daily prayer.
While approving of President Bush now is obviously no indicator of right, my vote for him in 2004 puts me on the right of the 50/50 line too.
And continuing to support him in his second term even further.
Your knee-jerk reaction is about to kick in again. Try to stave it off for one minute, just 60 little seconds.
It's generous to put me in the middle, I'm really center-right.
I have cited objective, quantitative positions with years of posts to back them up to prove where I sit on the spectrum.
What position of yours do you think proves you AREN'T far right?
I can tell you this, screaming and ranting that President Trump isn't fighting Democrats enough is uh... not one.
The most recent public debate I can find is from a 2018 reauthorization of section 702.
“As a conservative, I am committed to both protecting our national security and our civil liberties. As a matter of national security, we cannot return to a pre-9/11 footing by reinstituting barriers between national security and law enforcement.” -Rep. Jim Banks (R)
“Democrats should have had the foresight to roll back the Bush-era surveillance laws under President Obama; it’s unconscionable to now hand Trump even more leverage to seek retribution and give him a green light to conduct unconstitutional surveillance on Americans.” -Trevor Timm
And there's the vote itself, which in the Senate went 43-7 for Republicans and 22-27 for Democrats.
.
None of which really matters, of course, since you couldn't muster one single belief you have that isn't far-right.
Beliefs aren't carved in bas-relief.
They aren't stone or brick.
You can change them.
If you want.
You've gotten a good long up close look at the company you're keeping.
Does it really feel that good?
If you haven't been to theDonald.win, it's worth spending some time on. This is one of the major message boards where people planned their terrorism before the DC insurrection.
Here are just a few of the comments being made in the threads today. People are fired up and largely celebrating (though not sure what to make of Trump's semi-concession video). Before the event people were giving advice on how to sneak weapons into DC and preparing each other for violence:
Quote:
I'm not at all interested in any election that I'm not running in. Every one of us should be in one of those elections. if Trump calls in the next two weeks, I will answer and I will not go unarmed.
Quote:
However 2022 and 2024 look bleak. Who will be worthy of our votes? Seems like things are going to have to get physical before these representatives get in line
Quote:
Everyone opposing the takeover glows in the dark, change my mind. There's two options now, infinite lockdowns and Chinese-led communism or civil war.
Quote:
Violence is the ONLY solution to ANY problem. Everything boils down to violence sooner or later.
Quote:
What you can do is buy guns, train yourself, make money take care of your family, know and believe there's far more of US than there are of them, and do what is necessary if/when they fuck with you.
Quote:
Me too. That was the single most awesome thing I've ever done. I will forever be glad I made the trip.
So yeah, just so we're all clear: yesterday was Trump supporters. Even these folks are trying to blame a lot of what they did on Antifa (while also bragging about it), but Trump called and his most radical supporters showed up ready to do some damage.Quote:
It was a total set-up, but I don't regret my part in occupying the building. It's OUR house, and we have every right to be inside it. The people who work there are NOT our masters. They work for us, and they need to be reminded of it.
Enough with the various forms of "Oh this is anyone but Trump's fault. These people are radicalized, came because he called them, and he incited them to violence.
Oh no! A few broken windows and the response from Capitol police was to murder a US vet! So much damage!!!!11!
Fuck you for making a mountain out of a molehill while you actively downplayed and cheered on actual violence for months that resulted in dozens of deaths.
Ann Selzer is one of the nation's most highly regarded pollsters, and her polls routinely have an 800-900 sample size. Meanwhile SurveyMonkey which polls thousands of people is one of the most unreliable household name pollsters out there.
There's a lot that goes into the accuracy of a poll. Sample size is just one of many, and it doesn't at all directly correlate to accuracy.
Just wait and see. It's coming.

BREAKING: A Capitol Police Officer has died after being injured by a protester in the Capitol on Jan 6
Per spox: Officer Sicknick was responding to the riots on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol and was injured while physically engaging with protesters.
Yep sure were peaceful.
How is it you keep mentioning Democrats, I have never in my life registered as a Democrat, nor do I vote party line. But hey you can think and say what you like, after all it is America.
I'm loving reading all of these comments from retarded Democrats claiming Trump is to blame for the largely peaceful protest and that his actions amount to "sedition."
He is literally commander-in-chief of the most powerful military to have ever existed and the retarded Democrats are gaslighting the entire world that Trump resorted to a bunch of unarmed misfits to overthrow the US government?
Fuck all of you Democrats.
Tgo01’s meltdown is becoming epic, keep it going Karen!
Within 2 years Time4fun, Back, Latrin...etc. will be arguing that the state owns the individual.
Except Democrats have called for officers to be tried for murder even in cases where the person they shot were wielding weapons and threatening the officers, so yes I think it's a perfect assumption that if this officer had shot a left wing protester in the neck they would be calling for the officer to be tried for murder.
The officer has already been suspended, hopefully murder charges will follow, but again probably not because lunatics such as time4fun and SHAFT are demanding blood.
This riot, raid, violent protest, whatever you want to call it, was done by angry regarded MAGA supporters, that’s it. Did Trump egg them on during his rally before they did it? Who knows, it looks like it... but you’d have to ask the idiots who were there if Trump did in fact encourage them or not.
Gaetz is a tool. I can't believe he is a congressperson.
I don’t recall, tgo01 ever once blaming Trump or any Trump supporter for anything negative that has happened, it’s always someone else’s fault, or it’s a giant case of whataboutism. That tells a lot about him. I mean Trump could literally say, yeah it’s my fault and Tgo01 would blame the democrats, media, a random cat on the street, or whatever for it.
What are you talking about? I said this largely peaceful protest was a right wing protest in like my very first post in this thread.
My goodness, you really are like a child trying to get my attention. I’m not your dad and I’m beginning to understand why he went to get cigarettes and never came back.
Comparing this thread to the Portland thread is gold.
It was a largely peaceful protest. You can't call all Trump supporters complicit in this. In fact, this is exactly where many finally drew the line. Too little too late in my opinion. Everyone who helped Trump up to this point is complicit in what happened.
Only a small number of people in DC on Jan 6th broke into and ransacked the US Capitol causing democratically elected lawmakers who were counting the electoral votes of the people of the United States to confirm the presidency for Joe Biden to fear for their lives and evacuate the federal building guarded by armed law enforcement personnel.
One of those armed law enforcement personnel was Officer Brian Sicknick who died as a result of doing his duty to protect the US Capitol and the democratically elected congresspeople from a violent domestic terrorist insurrection.
Tell me who is responsible for his death?
It was largely peaceful, except when an officer's head got smashed with a fire extinguisher and he died.
The politicians that have ran the country so abysmally that it created a political environment so toxic that the electorate elected a TV star.Quote:
Tell me who is responsible for his death?
But you have been told that for 5 years now.
I'm unsure why you refuse to listen.

I mean.. I don't want to laugh at people who got maced.. but she did admit to storming the capitol and "It's a revolution!".
This hit me right in the demographic, and I couldn't help it.
https://youtu.be/byDyOOEoYbA
Was she holding an onion in her right hand wrapped in a towel, while crying about being maced? Hmm.
The rumors and memes going around about her are kinda funny.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/el...e-onion-towel/
Her eyes don't look like someone who just got maced, no red and puffiness.
Honestly I don't know what's in the canisters for sure, they're just blasting it into the crowd like they have a super soaker and then people start saying they can't see. Both sides are shooting stuff back and forth, honestly it's worth the watch. I'm about 25 mins in now.
At roughly 21 minutes, the one officer is traped between the door, with the officers pushing behind and the <insert title> supporters pushing the other way. You can see him spitting up blood.
Totally non violent tho

Man pictured with foot on desk in Pelosi's office is arrested
Images apparently showing Richard Barnett of Arkansas in the speaker's office became emblematic of the mayhem that tore across the U.S. Capitol.
WASHINGTON — A man photographed casually sitting with his foot on a desk in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office at the U.S. Capitol while a pro-Trump mob rampaged the halls of Congress was arrested Friday, law enforcement officials said.
Richard Barnett, 60, of Gravette, Arkansas, was taken into custody in his home state on federal charges of entering and remaining on restricted grounds, violent entry and theft of public property, according to a Department of Justice official. Further details were not immediately available.
...
The FBI is requesting the public's help in identifying other Trump supporters who unlawfully invaded the Capitol for about four hours, with investigators poring over surveillance footage and social media posts. But the vast majority of the hundreds of people who stormed the building were allowed to leave without getting arrested, making the task of tracking them down exceedingly difficult.
So far, dozens of arrests have been made, including 41 people who were at the Capitol grounds late Wednesday and early Thursday, according to D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department.
Pete Williams reported from Washington, and Erik Ortiz from New York.
Oh boy! I wonder if bail funds will be set up and 99% if these charges dropped by pro-crime DAs!
Police working harder to arrest trespassers than they did tracking down people burning buildings and homes while people were still in them.
So remember how the United States Capitol building was under siege, and we barely heard from Trump for hours?
Turns out he was busy calling Senators while they were barricading against the rioters and were hiding in undisclosed locations until the rioting had died down and it was safe to do their jobs again.
andQuote:
Trump first called the personal cell phone of Lee, a Utah Republican, shortly after 2 p.m. ET. At that time the senators had been evacuated from the Senate floor and were in a temporary holding room, as a pro-Trump mob began breaching the Capitol.
Lee picked up the phone and Trump identified himself, and it became clear he was looking for Tuberville and had been given the wrong number. Lee, keeping the President on hold, went to find his colleague and handed Tuberville his phone, telling him the President was on the line and had been trying to reach him.
Tuberville spoke with Trump for less than 10 minutes, with the President trying to convince him to make additional objections to the Electoral College vote in a futile effort to block Congress' certification of President-elect Joe Biden's win, according to a source familiar with the call. The call was cut off because senators were asked to move to a secure location.
So basically once his angry insurrectionists had succeeded in disrupting the electoral vote count, he decided that was a good idea to say "Hey, so while you're cowering in fear over this mob I sent to you, maybe now is a good time to push back the count".Quote:
The second call to Lee came in at 7 p.m. ET from Giuliani. Lee did not answer the call so it went to voicemail. Lee's office confirmed to CNN that the voicemail was intended for Tuberville and the message left from Giuliani was very similar to one that another unnamed GOP senator received. The transcript of that call was published by the conservative outlet The Dispatch as well as the news blog emptywheel.
"Sen. Tuberville? Or I should say Coach Tuberville. This is Rudy Giuliani, the President's lawyer," he said according to to the transcript.
"I'm calling you because I want to discuss with you how they're trying to rush this hearing and how we need you, our Republican friends, to try to just slow it down so we can get these legislatures to get more information to you," Giuliani said, referring to unfounded claims of voter fraud in the presidential election.
"I know they're reconvening at 8 tonight, but it ... the only strategy we can follow is to object to numerous states and raise issues so that we get ourselves into tomorrow -- ideally until the end of tomorrow."
But he totally didn't send that angry mob on purpose, and he was clearly very concerned for the health and safety of everyone there.
So which of the mindless conservative trolls want to take a stab at justifying this one? Because this should be good.
Google has banned Parler for failing to moderate as it was being used to plan a domestic terrorist attack on our nation's Capitol.
Seems like Apple is likely going to do the same thing now regardless of what Parler's response is. (Spoiler alert- so far it's been "We ain't gonna do no moderating!")
Censoring? lol you mean breaking tbe tos that everyone agrees to when they sign up and getting banned?
Yeah Parler was being used to plan the domestic terrorism at Wed's rally. And it's still being used for that now for January 19th. There are legitimate threats against actual people there, and Parler has refused to add moderation to the app or to remove threats of violence or terrorism from the service. Even though the terms of service they signed with Google and Apple to use their platforms explicitly required them do to so.
What you want to happen is actually favoritism. You want Parler to be exempt from provisions in their own contract that anyone else with user generated content has to follow.
This reflexive victim stance is getting old. You don't have a right to spread misinformation and conspiracy theories and knowingly allow violence to be planned while you're using a private service while refusing to follow the terms of your contract with them.
Grow. Up.
Net neutrality is the principle that communication is treated equally regardless of source.
Violent threats are illegal under US federal law (18 US Code 875c) and are prohibited by the terms of service of every major social media service.
Hence, one President being banned and one not is not evidence of non-neutrality when only one issues violent threats.
This is true even if they happen to be of different parties.
Think of it this way.
If you break the speed limit, you will get away with it pretty much all the time.
If you do get pulled over, however, you will not get let off the hook by saying "b-b-b-b-b-b-but it's not FAIR!! THAT guy's speeding TOOOoooOOOooOOOOOOO-UH!!!"
It would not bias.
It would not be a conspiracy.
It would just be the enforcement of the law as written.
Since when do we ban an entire platform because of a few supposed threats by a very small subset of the users? Because if so every website that has ever existed needs to be banned, including this very forum.
Stop being a dumb ass just for the sake of being a dumb ass.
For one, it wasn't a few people. In fact, a lot of far right militia groups, white nationalist militia groups, and radicalized Trump supporters have taken to using Parler, for example, to plan acts of terrorism, how to sneak bombs and weapons into the Captiol, etc.
And on Twitter, he's using his account to incite and- candidly- organize these people.
I realize you will never, ever be able to wrap your head around this, but he's fucking dangerous. And he'll continue to be dangerous when he's gone. Go spend some time on theDonald.win, and you'll see what I'm talking about. And the Republican party literally just tried to steal an election. (while screaming that other people were trying to steal it, of course) That party has become fucking dangerous.
Step out of your own head for a moment and ask yourself- do we want to set a precedent where the loser of an election can scream and scream about voter fraud to give their party cover to overrule the electoral college votes of states who didn't vote for their candidate? You're worrying more about what's best for Trump than what's best for your country at this point.
You have to stop.
Those damn terms and conditions!! Trying to silence the right wing/republicans!! We need to sue those terms and conditions! They are obviously working with the left wing, and media to silence the right! We won’t let them stop our 1st amendment rights!!
Tgo01’s epic meltdown continues.
As a good Republican I endorse the law, and I endorse two parties standing by a legal contract they freely entered with one another.
Take a deep breath.
Take a step back.
Take a minute.
When you've calmed down you'll remember this is how society is supposed to work.
You break into the capitol and threaten armed policemen with their lives... your stupid ass might get shot.
I watched some of her videos she posted. She was a lunatic.
I imagine you’re quite similar in your beliefs? You too probably drive down the road, ranting and raving like a madman against “antifa” and Nancy Pelosi.
Don’t get shot, you dullard.
Oh no! They said mean words to the police therefore they have forfeited their life!
Simply amazing how scum like you can say a 16 year old teen didn't have the right to defend himself with a firearm from multiple convicted felons attacking him, but mean words deserved death without so much as a trial.
Fuck you.
I guess "All lives matter" and "Blue lives matter" only applies when it's not people with their same beliefs and concerns killing police officers, or when they're trying to be condescending in the face of systemic racism. It's really interesting to see the hypocrisy unfold. Incredibly sad, but interesting.
Thread: Terrorists break into US Capitol Building
Look at you, asking someone else to be less emotional. Zero Self Awareness.
So to be clear, you're comparing me being emotional about hundreds of thousands of needless deaths to Tgo01 being emotional about someone being banned from posting on a website...
...and I'm the one with zero self awareness?
:wow:
Business Insider: growing evidence of inside partipation in riot. Some foreign law enforcement calling it a coup attempt.
I'm sure none of you remember me rolling my eyes when the Hillary camp claimed Russian interference. I posted that meme of the guy sticking a pipe in his own front spokes and blaming Russia. Call it what you want, but there was obvious tacit approval by some insiders. The truth will come out, and some people in positions of police and government authority will be going down.
https://www.businessinsider.com/trum...-police-2021-1
Honestly Tgo, if "dumb cunt" is how you open then you really don't have much to offer.
I will give you this though. I didn't catch any questions you had for me, and yes you are on ignore. And yes I have, over the last few days, looked at some of your messages as a way to get more insight into people like you.
But go ahead and politely ask me whatever it is you feel like I ducked, and I will give you an earnest answer.
I just did a thought exercise in another thread, and I'm going to put the other thought exercise here as it's specifically relevant to this.
There are clearly people who feel like Democrats/liberals are taking this entire situation out of context and are overreacting. They deserve a chance to explain. And it's incumbent on the rest of us to take their earnest answers seriously.
The rules of the exercise are this: No whataboutism. No "BUT DEMOCRATS!" No "BUT REPUBLICANS!". This is about the specific situations in the thought exercise.
Exercise
Imagine that Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election and had lost the 2020 election.
Now imagine she had been devoting a significant amount of her energy to convincing her supporters that the election had been stolen from them. Imagine that hand recounts hadn't found any significant irregularities, 5 dozen Court cases on the subject had failed, and that every county and State in the country had certified their results. Now imagine the Electoral College had already voted for President Elect Donald Trump.
Imagine that Clinton spends two months after the election throwing out endless conspiracy theories, which had been thoroughly debunked by both non-partisan and conservative news outlets and fact checkers. Imagine she then started trying to convince her fellow Democrats in Congress to vote to overturn the election results of the states she lost, and that she started telling people that her Vice President, who was soon going to preside over the Congressional certification session, had the authority to overturn the results himself, despite having access to the best legal minds in the country and knowing for a fact it wasn't true.
Now imagine that Clinton decided to gather as many of her supporters as possible in DC on the same day and at the same time Congress was going to be certifying the results of the election- within very easy walking distance from the Capitol building where the session was being held. Imagine that during this "Save America" march she holds, she and several top allies tell the crowd that the election has been stolen, that their democracy needs to be saved, that they need to show strength and never give up, that today was their last chance to stop Congress from stealing the election, and that her Vice President had the authority to stop the steal but had chosen not to. Imagine others tell them "We're coming for you Congress!" and "Today is trial by combat!" while at the same time knowing that there were armed Antifa groups in attendance.
Now imagine she points that massive crowd of angry and armed supporters to the Capitol building while Congress was in there voting to certify the election results.
Fast forward an hour, and they've overpowered police and have started to overtake the Capitol. Congress is barricaded and hiding from the violence, and it's reported by both conservative and non-partisan media that Clinton is actually excited about what's happening. Imagine she fails to condemn the violence that's going on and for 90 minutes refuses to give the National Guard authorization to mobilize and help quell the riot. Imagine President Clinton finally comes out with a statement and a video asking the people occupying the Capitol building and terrorizing Congress (Also chanting about hanging her Vice President) to go home, but at the same time she's telling them the election was stolen from them, they're patriots, she loves them, and that they're special. Imagine she sends out a tweet saying 'this is what you get for stealing an election from us!" during it.
Imagine that while this was going on, Clinton is calling key Democratic Senators (who were still behind barricaded doors or hidden in secure locations while the riot was going on) and asking them to push off the certification without a word to their safety. Imagine she doesn't even check in on the safety of her Vice President. Imagine it takes her about 30 hours before she finally-, some of which are activ under pressure from her own staff- puts out a video condemning the violence.
Imagine they found pipe bombs, Molotov cocktails, and semi-automatic weapons in the area, brought by her supporters, some of which are known, active Antifa members. Imagine 5 people died. Imagine she never once showed any concern or regret for the people hurt and killed or the fact that the US Capitol Building was attacked for the first time in 200 years.
Q1: Did she do anything wrong? Is she dangerous? Should she continue to have the powers of the Presidency in her hands? Is your answer different from your answer for Trump? Why or why not?
Q2: Imagine that Clinton's supporters and liberal news outlets are starting to tell people that the riot was actually started by white nationalists looking to cause problems. Imagine that non-partisan and conservative media have fact checked this and stated there's no evidence of it. Imagine the FBI comes out and also says there's no evidence of this. How credible would you find these claims about white nationalists? How is that answer the same or different from your response to claims that Antifa was behind the attack on the Capitol? Why or why not?
You know... if someone I looked up to and trusted turned out to be lying to me for 4 years I'd be super pissed. If someone I held in high regard made promises to me for 4 years and never delivered I'd be furious. If this same person asked me for money for all these things, repeatedly, then delivered nothing I'd be raging. So in that sense I have some amount of sympathy for people who feel that way. In the end, we all got the bad end of the deal.
