Rounds of emerald nestle into settings of bronze that resemble taloned claws, and the mounted links are joined by delicate chains. Each barb bites into its stone, holding it securely in place and creating a cruel display that is echoed in the clasp. Half of the toggle is an asp, its body twisted into an open-work knot, and the other half is a single talon of bronze. The tip, stained crimson, fits perfectly within the hollows of the asp's coils, appearing to pierce the creature as it secures the strand.

My costume for tonight's costume ball. I decided to go all out with the mourning garb, complete with scripted items to go with the theme.
Wasn't enough to win the prize for best mourning outfit, but I still love it.

She is wearing a silver-edged black silk face-veil, a glazed obsidian locket, a layered silver silk pelisson, a small black mournbloom tinged with intense purple, a fitted onyx marbrinus cotehardie frosted with a rime of silver that creeps from the folds of the trailing skirts, a silvery braided hair bracelet, and a pair of black silk pointy-toed slippers.
Face-veil: Swathes of sheer black silk fall from twin silver caps molded to fit the upper ear, the delicate material draped in layers to shroud the wearer's face behind an airy black curtain. A web of silver veins spread over the outermost layer, the pale rime glittering like frost in cold winter sunlight.
Bracelet: Long strands of soft, silver hair have been tightly plaited to form a thin rope, the loose ends of the braid worked together seamlessly to form a delicate bracelet. Brilliant strands of silver weave in and out of the plait, the shimmering threads of metal sharply contrasting with the pale silver of the tresses. The faint scent of jasmine, reminiscent of perfume worn by ladies of nobility, still clings to the braided silver locks.
My favorite script: (Person) brushes her lips against her mournbloom and exhales. The soft, sad sound of a woman weeping emanates from the blossom, fading with the last of (Person)'s breath.

This was just one way I would have cut it down.
Just a quick paring down of what you have to give an alternate look. Not much in the way of blue, but you can always change it later. I'll echo Narcissiia, too. Too many symbols and WAY too many containers.

the symbols go twards his rp actualy I was planning on more, hideing one of each major Lornon arkati on his person. I know L'Naere, and Maluro, but whats the thrid one? Speaking of symbols, be glad you can see his tattoos or that character show would be about six more lines longer :D
as for the containers, everyone one of them exept the backpack are 1/2 to 2/3 full at any given time. (yeah alchemy, full lockers, and no shop ;( Has me constantly realing on the encumberace side of things, to the point I am seriously thinking of throwing down for a fixstat potion.
as for the color addition, I has planned on altering/replacing some of the existing stuff. and only 1 new item. a pin worn robe, "a sleeveless ebon-worked azur/cerulian robe with a kneel length hem"
anyone have any ideas on how to best do this. as I said, I'm wanting to give him an over all black apperance with obvious blue accents.

Heh. Jesae only ever wears ONE container. Its usually a robe/cloak/wrap of some type, or one of her large-amount belt worns. I couldn't imagine four or five or six bags hanging off her. If she's doing major hunting she'll stow a backpack IN her major container and bring it out when she needs more room for boxes. That and <3 disks + air lore.

The bracers/guards are for the armour so they have to stay, everything else is fair game.
The pouch is where I keep spare crystal amulets for the pearl one to eat. so I could toss it in the satchle.
As for the hidden ankle sheaths I've looked high and low and haven't found a single one, would love to have a few of them for various reasons.
I've another set of robes I can snag that I think will work better. I'm not keen on "tell" items/cloths personaly. But thoughs where handy.
The hair tie-do ties like what to discribe actualy exist? I thought only hair jewels and hair sticks where avalible.
Search for an ebon-tied supple leather ankle sheath, a vine-tooled dark hide ankle sheath, a silver-edged orc hide ankle sheath, a rugged leather ankle sheath, or a cord-tied suede ankle sheath. They're all hidden sheaths.
Also look for a simple leather hair-tie. There's also a pair of black leather hair-ties, but I don't know if the hairstyles would fit Herod too well.

Yeah, he's container-heavy, but I figure that's appropriate for the mountain man theme. Here's a few of the shows:

Voluminous enough to fully envelop its wearer in protectively treated leather, this cloak can serve as a rudimentary shelter in which to endure the unexpected storm. Inside, a lining of thick bear fur confers the comfort of a bedroll should the wearer be forced to a stony bed. The oiled leather flaps that wrap across the front are secured by a row of interior toggles and can be folded and fastened within the cloak to accommodate ease of travel under more hospitable conditions.

This toughened leather kit bears scratches and scrapes as if it has been dragged over rough surfaces and through dense forests. Its flap is clasped tightly by a polished spikethorn barb. That's a prett cool outfit you've got there, well constructed. Accents... um.. accents can be very defining so it's hard for me to randomly throw one at you.. for example a set of reading glasses tucked into your pocket might show you as kind of an intellectual, something of that nature I'm assuming?
Thanks. You're right about accents being defining. I'm just having a hard time coming up with one. The eyeglasses, though not something that would fit this character, are on the right track.
I got a piece of jewelry that was "twin pretty fancy chokers" (only, you know, with other adjectives" because I felt that "a pair of twin" was redundant.
That's something to think about, if you wanted, for your clasps...and it would give you room to slap a show on it to describe them.
I think they were twin vaalin wire chokers. Gothique sold them in her farewell auction.

okay, "a pair of twin" is redundant. Two questions: how would you parse that to fit the 15/15/15 rules? I'd like to keep "cloak/clasps" in there, but "clasps" has to be alone in the last field.
Second, any help with this show I just came up with:

Seriously though, everyone knows what the Pope's outfit looks like, for the most part. On the same note, if you see a guy all decked out in red (cassock, mozzetta, zucchetto, and biretta) a good portion of the populace will say "oh, look, a Cardinal." Same goes for a Franciscan monk's cassock. "You" may not be sure what a V'Tullian high priest's cloak looks like, but someone who lives in a place where priests of V'Tull wander around in official raiment would.
Hm, wasn't there a big thing about this a while ago? About people claiming titles they've never received in-game through altered items? I thought Zimzum was the only one allowed to get V'tullian high priest stuff.

He was actually at the same merchant when I had the item done. He did say something along the lines of "someone trying to usurp my station" or something like that.
I love the V'Tullian outfit bit I'd rather be shown what it is rather than told, personally. Without the V'Tullian High Priest part, I really love it-- my problem with telling rather than showing is you force knowledge on a looker-- not everyone IRL may know what the Pope looks like, or a fireman, or whatever.. not every character may know what a V'Tullian High Priest cloak looks like.

I was starting a new account with a healer and a cleric, who would be camped on Teras for the multitudes of times where neither were available, other than NPCs. I thought If I was going to have a cleric that lives on Teras, then he had better have one that was a cleric of V'Tull. Half the island's hunting areas are named after him. As for the Erithian part, that is just what I pictured in my head as the race when I was trying to decide what he would look like and his demeanor.
On a side note, the healer is his brother, Sartorus, can't stand blood and fighting, which is why he became an empath. They are on the same account, so they are never in the same room together and are always looking for each other.
Sartorus asks, "You have not seen that blood lusting brother of mine have you?"
Sartanis asks, "now, where is that week-kneed brother of mine?"

Cut daringly low, the gown is composed of shadowy black silks and trimmed in silver. The waist is tightly cinched, and heavily boned for support. Long flowing sleeves, sewn from the same fine silk, are attached to drape languidly from their off-the-shoulder positions. A semi-circular train falls gracefully behind the silver-banded hem, and the silver laces are supported with twisted umber gromments.
