Oh man, they are throwing Guilliani under the bus. Ouch.
According to polls Trump now leads every single Democratic candidate in a hypothetical head to head match up in the important swing states that helped Trump win last year.
Of course polls this far out don't usually mean much, but considering just a couple of months ago Biden (the one doing the best against Trump) was beating Trump by 10 points in these states and Trump now leads Biden by 6 isn't a trend Democrats want.
Wait they are still calling "witnesses" and holding hearings even after they have drafted articles of impeachment? Are they bringing in more partisan hacks to try to sell this to the American people because the support isn't there yet or what?
Apparently they are calling both the Democratic counsel and the Republican counsel to testify today. The Democratic counsel admitted that Joe Biden engaged in a quid pro quo in regards to withholding aid from Ukraine until he got what he wanted. This was the Democrats' counsel admitting to this. But we're not allowed to talk about that or investigate that because he's running for president or something.
Good thing Democrats have the actual retard vote like Back locked down because they need that bloc of voters.

What an absolute circus the Democrats have turned congress into in their quest to get rid of Trump.
So both the Democrats' counsel and the Republicans' counsel were called today to testify and they both sat at the witness table together to answer questions from committee members.
Nadler then allowed ONLY the Democrat counsel to sit with the actual elected members of congress and then ask questions to the Republican counsel.
It's actually an insult to all other kangaroo courts that have existed to refer to this sham as a kangaroo court. This is like if at Back's trial for diddling kids SHM is called up as a witness for the prosecution and Seran is called up as a witness to the defense, then the judge allowed Seran to grill SHM thus giving the impression to the jury that Seran's testimony is more important because he is also playing the role of a lawyer. This is so absurd I can't even think of a real world example to compare this to because it is simply that outrageous.
But orange man bad so it's okay.
I’m fairly sure that if I had children and short dick pedophile did something to them, I’d have already taken care of it and have no need for a trial.
According to dems, today is the most important day in history.
So they decide to vote on USMCA after over a year of stalling.
The ONLY way to read that is that they KNOW impeachment is failing, so they want to be able to say they can chew gum and walk at the same time. 100% partisan politics for something that will NEVER result in Trump being removed from office.
Get ready for 4 more years, snowflakes. I CANNOT wait for short dick pedophiles crying for 4 more years.
I know, it's incredible how butt hurt the dems are.
Stock market doesn't even care. Good to know people with money are smarter than short dick pedophiles.
They didn't even charge Trump with "bribery", rather "abuse of power" LOL! and "obstruction of Congress" more LOL!
What a shit show. They actually threatened to impeach Trump for insisting on going to the courts before handing over information and the fuckers did it, the madmen actually want to impeach a sitting president for going to the courts. The current Democrats in congress think they are the kings and queens of this country.
I bet Back must feel especially stupid after he waited a week for marching orders from the DNC/CNN on what to refer to Trump's actions as and when they finally settled on "bribery" and he started parroting it back and the next day they don't even charge Trump with bribery.

Democrat Karen Bass says she's open to impeach Trump again if he gets reelected in 2020

We must protect the pizza. The pizza must flow!
Hank Johnson, the idiot who thought Guam would capsize if we sent too many military personnel there, had this to say about why we should impeach Trump:
Quote:
Colleague from Georgia talks about how Democrats are trying to make Zelensky look weak. Well, I’ll tell you. That brings to mind the picture of President Trump and President Zelensky meeting in New York in September at the UN, and a big chair for President Trump, a little chair for President Zelensky.
Yes. Trump should be impeached because when the two presidents met Trump supposedly had a bigger chair than Zelensky and because Trump...had Zelensky's daughter duct taped in the basement...?Quote:
And they’re standing there and President Trump is holding court and he says oh by the way, no quid pro quo, no pressure, and you saw President Zelensky shaking his head as if his daughter was downstairs in the basement duct taped.
People so worried about Trump being unfit for office. There should be an IQ requirement to be in the house, half the people would be gone tomorrow.
I'm curious what Hank Johnson's initial campaign was like. He could be explaining quantum physics with 100% accuracy and still sound like a huge retard and put everyone to sleep.
I'm just gonna assume no one else was running, because how does someone who talks like him get anyone hype for anything?
I now live in Northwest Georgia, used to live over the line in Tennessee. This is his district:

Atlanta voted for Stacy Abrams as governor. The urban South is just as elitist, racist, Leftist as most of the North and yet, somehow dumber since they elects some of the most idiotic people to office. The rural South is what most people think of as the South. Most of the cities are Leftist shitholes just in better shape than the north because the cancer hasn't been living as long.
Even CNN had to admit that democrats are full of shit

It's being reported that Democrat Jeff Van Drew might switch parties to Republican because of this impeachment shit.
Jeff Van Drew was already against impeachment and signaled a while ago that he might vote against impeachment so that aspect of it isn't anything new, but him switching parties is new. He's probably just doing it to keep his job but I wonder how many others might follow.
That's great, he'll be challenged by an actual Democrat and lose his seat.
Democrat Collin Peterson said he is going to vote against impeachment unless they come up with something else, which they aren't going to do.
One thing is for sure: the impeachment vote have bipartisan support, it will just be bipartisan support against impeachment.
It amazes me that anyone can still support democrats at this point. Their actions over the past 3 years are about as anti-liberal as one could possibly be. The party has become so poisonous that it's red baiting it's own party members.
We will see another republican president elected in 2024. Democrats have committed suicide.
What exactly are you referring to with your post? There's clearly two factions of Democrats, the unapologetic Socialists and the Establishment-Moderates. The Socialists are pushing a severe left-wing agenda which is heedless of the actual political climate. The Moderates are falling all over themselves courting leftist Republicans and non-radical progressives, trying desperately to tap into the far left of their flank, but getting burned every time they try.
What's scary about the Democrat party is their self-destructive political correctness. One of their house members sleeps with a married staffer before she got to congress and they were screaming for her head. Meanwhile Duncan out of San Diego served for a year while under indictment for embezzlement and campaign finance and he was -just fine-. Where the lefties are failing is thinking destroying gun rights and our police forces because of their -usually- correct response to violence in the inner cities in order to court the African American vote. Guess what, African Americans don't like crime anymore than anyone else does. Just as the majority of naturalized Hispanics are disgusted by the idea of granting rights/amnesty to illegal immigrants. The Democrat party has listened to the ulta-activist shriekers on the fringe of their own party, thinking it's the direction our country is going. When in fact, it's just some austic moron with a megaphone.
This is the least retarded post you have ever made here. Not because it is honest, but for once it sounds like you aren't just regurgitating Democrat talking points and are actually thinking about it.
Or.. maybe you went to go on the DailyBeast and accidentally went on DailyCaller.
I'm not sure what it was.. but you can now kiss your title match with Backlash goodbye for the time being.
Oh, I perfectly understand why people tend to lean Democratic, it's because between the extremes of both parties they have a choice; "Worker protections, massive social safety net and high taxes on the rich" with the Democrats and "no abortion or gay marriage, no worker protections and a complete reversion to feudalism as the wealthy 1% become oligarchs owning all land and businesses." Now between becoming serfs expected to work their entire life to pay for a meager living or the socialism offered by the extreme lefties, it's a no-brainer.
A state senator in PA is switching from Democrat to Independent and will caucus with Republicans because he thinks Democrats have gone completely crazy.
You mean the guy that switched a month ago
House Democrat Who Opposed Impeachment Plans To Switch To The Republican Party
Weird how this is from yesterday and they're still headlining it as if it didn't happen yet.
OR ARE THERE MORE?!?!?!
I doubt the republicans want him.
Versus Justin Amash in the House, Andy McKean in the Iowa legislature defecting specifically because Trump. Is this news? Not really, but whatever you wanna sling around.
Party switching always makes me think of this:

AMERICA"S MAYOR SAYS ITS SO.
LETS DO SOME PUSHUPS.
The Democrats are now suggesting Trump committed bribery AND wire fraud, which they also point out is a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Democrats have literally gone insane. And who can blame them? They have people like Seran and Back to suck their dicks every time they somehow top their previous amount of crazy.
Funny I don't recall you referring to it as bribery until after Democrats conducted their focus group.
You also admit that Democrats have gone beyond crazy by suggesting Trump committed wire fraud and should face up to 20 years in prison.
You're only 50% crazy then.
It's kind of disgusting watching the media and Democrats in the wake of the FISA court abuses committed by the FBI.
For years now Trump, Republicans, and even some Democrats have cried foul at the FBI for what they did and for years the Democrats and their media lapdogs slandered them all as Russian assets for even THINKING of criticizing the FBI. Now Democrats and the media are like "Oh, I guess it's a big deal after all."
No apologies or anything, more like "Well shit it was fun slandering people with impunity while it lasted, guess we gotta be honest now though."
But let's not forget the most important thing of all: BUT ORANGE MAN BAD!!!
What a snowflake moron.
https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4...to-be-a-threat
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said recent comments from President Trump about him constituted a threat.
I mean, does anyone take this guy seriously? He's such a fairy. I seriously hope he gets investigated for his constant lies in the house and in his interviews. Remember how he was adamant he had evidence of Russian collusion? Fucking investigate him. You shouldn't be able to lie in congress like that, costing millions of taxpayer dollars in an investigation that is baseless.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said recent comments from President Trump about him constituted a threat.
Shit just got real!
A House member flashed the "white power" symbol at today's impeachment hearing!
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EMGspsfU...pg&name=medium
I sure hope this leads to a house investigation which ultimately leads to Maxine Waters' removal from office! This white supremacy has to stop!!!
https://www.stlucianewsonline.com/wp...on-Tarrant.jpg
This is the “White Power” symbol, it’s an upside down OK sign. The three fingers form a W and the P forms the word Power.
I'm assuming you're just trolling but Back will probably read your post and think "OH! That's why it's okay when Democrats do it!" so to explain to Back: No. The supposed "white power" symbol is indeed just the regular "okay" hand symbol.
Let's go to the far left ADL for the details!
https://www.adl.org/sites/default/fi...?itok=BAkTglHS
If anything the upside down okay hand sign is indeed the circle game so the cadets at that football game were playing the circle game. However Maxine Waters was using the ACTUAL white supremacist symbol and I for one hope she is removed from office over this egregious display of white supremacy.
That would be an M and not a W.
E for effort though.

So the fucktards went ahead and impeached a sitting US president because of a fucking phone call.
What an absolute shitshow the Democrats have turned our Democracy into. If you're still going along with this shit you are just as pathetic as each and every single Democrat who voted for this bullshit, which by the way only Democrats voted for this shit.
The Democrats literally cheered and applauded after Pelosi read that the measure had passed. Just proves this was not being taken seriously and had nothing to do with justice, they literally CHEERED that they just impeached the president over a phone call. Fuck each and every single Democrat in congress.
He'll be acquitted in the senate, and reelected in November. No worries.
Only question now is the senate going to say "fuck you" to the house and just dismiss the charges outright, or they going to go through with an actual trial and allow the Democrats in the senate to further make a mockery of our Democracy.
Pelosi says since the Republicans in the senate are being meanie heads she hasn't ruled out the possibility of just not sending the articles of impeachment to the senate.
What an absolute joke and disgrace.
A small factoid: Donald J. Trump is now a member of the second-most exclusive fraternity of us presidents. Another small factoid: he can never be a member of the most exclusive fraternity of us presidents. A prediction: he won't be granted his own exclusive fraternity of us presidents.
In terms of what will happen in the Senate: The charges cannot be dismissed. There can be an agreement to the procedures the Senate will use during the Senate hearings as to whether or not any other issues of substance should be reviewed by the Senate prior to proceeding to a vote on guilt. At the very least republicans will still return to the saw of wanting to parade the whistleblower publicly. For that to happen, the trial hearings will occur.
As a third small factoid: So far, neither party has attempted to bring this to the Supreme Court largely because the Supreme Court by precedent has said it cannot weigh in on political matters. An outright dismissal, if attempted, could successfully be petitioned to the Supreme Court as a legal constitutional matter, though. Based on this, no, neither party can allow that to happen. It would be disastrous to the republican mantra to leave this hanging open long enough to wend through the Supreme Court. They'll follow form. They have no choice. How the vote will tally is also a foregone conclusion.
Not a factoid, but a guess: From here on, the shit show only gets worse, as both parties capture images and soundbites to use for the 2020 elections, from House, through Senate to Presidency. And another guess: americans will no longer care to hear it, don't want to know who was right or wrong and have no attention span for any subtle nuance.
Leading to the prediction: 2020 will be hotly contested and still bitterly divisive. The country will not heal from this. It doesn't matter who is bad or who is not. And everyone is equally to blame for the outcome. There is no winner despite what at least one self-proclaimed embattled hero will claim.
2020 is gonna be interesting.
I can't decide if I think they should just do a quick vote to acquit or if they should take the time to do a real trial, call every fucking idiot possible including Biden and son, Schiff, Pelosi and all their staff to testify and hash out all this crap in public with real cross examination of the witnesses.

Uh oh! Looks like many uneducated Democrats on Twitter didn't realize that being impeached does not mean removal from office because the number one trending tag on Twitter right now is #ResignTrump
What a bunch of jokers.
Really? Says who? The Senate can vote to do what they want with regards to this farce.
They have not gone to the Supreme Court because Impeachment is purely, solidly and constitutionally restricted to the Congress. The court has no jurisdiction. Next completely baseless opinion.Quote:

This wound has been in the process of being made for decades by the elitist Leftist in the country and it has pushed the nation to the brink of a hot civil war. We are already in a cold civil war for the soul of the nation regarding who we are, what we will stand for and how we will proceed in the future.Quote:
Leading to the prediction: 2020 will be hotly contested and still bitterly divisive. The country will not heal from this.
This is what loser shitbags say when they know they are in the wrong and want to appear conciliatory before getting their ass handed to them when the shit hits the fan. It's a lousy attempt at the old trope "Don't hate the player, hate the game." Both are the same, someone who knows they are in the wrong trying to save their ass.Quote:
It doesn't matter who is bad or who is not.
Bullshit, there is one and only one party to blame with it's leaders whipping this dead horse since they lost the election even before the inauguration. Only brain dead morons think otherwise, even many Leftists have said as much. There already is a winner, Trump and anyone with a pulse and IQ over used toilet paper already knows it.Quote:
And everyone is equally to blame for the outcome. There is no winner despite what at least one self-proclaimed embattled hero will claim.
Get off your condescending high horse, grab your ears with both hands and pull until you hear the popping sound as your head comes out of your ass, then look around.
Come on down to the trenches and let's hoist some suds. Keep your leftist label-gun in your holster, and we'll get along fine. We'll agree that we're largely aligned on the immediate outcome, will each be amused and pissed by various antics tried by our ever-so-effective government, and we widely disagree on the long-term future. Then we can agree when we'll get together next and decide who really won over another round or 12. I'll even buy if my point about the Senate proceeding with the trial rather than just dismissing it doesn't hold.
Or you can keep ranting. But me, I'm grabbing a beer.
NO SHIT! REALLY?!
It's a bunch of morons who thought Trump would be removed from office when he was impeached, then when they found out he wasn't they wanted him to resign. Why should he resign? Because Pelosi's false teeth can't stay in her mouth when she speak her lies?
I expected more out of this thread, this morning.
I am disappoint.
Suppose you could talk about the class it takes to tell a widow that her husband might be in Hell looking up at them.
I am not what you'd call a Trump Enthusiast but any lib who genuinely believes he's going to be removed from office (or resign) has extreme brain worms. Sad!
The complete irony of Dems saying unless they get a "fair" trial in the senate they won't pass over their rule breaking and rushed articles is fucking immense.
And I thought they HAD to get it done so they could start in the Senate ASAP... nope... just had to get it done before the holidays, so they can go fuck off for a month.
He'll be the first impeached president to get reelected. That sounds pretty exclusive.
Prediction: This gets annihilated in the Senate, blows up hard in the democrats' faces, retards like Back have huge meltdowns after Trump is acquitted, Trump gets reelected, then retards like Back have the biggest meltdowns in human history.Quote:

Hopefully after Trump's acquitted, democrats live up to their word from a week or two ago and try to keep impeaching again and again for all sorts of bonus self pwnage.
This is correct. They've been looking for bullshit to impeach over since the day Trump won the election and have made no secret of it.
Democrats have reached previously uncharted levels of butthurt.
Do you consider fraud to be an illegal act? It's a civil suit, but not being able to have a charity and paying 2 million bucks seems like something was illegal.
https://media2.giphy.com/media/Gt4FaBEFngjL2/source.gif
Is this before or after dems polled their followers to find out which term(s) they thought sounded best so they'd know what they should impeach Trump over?
Because conveniently, as highlighted by the Mueller report, the Justice Department has filed a memo citing their opinion the President is immune to prosecution. Leaving the only way for the President to be held accountable for suspected crimes is the impeachment process. Had we turned this over to a civilian grand jury, I'm suspecting the process would have been FAR different.

I wish Back would show back up so we can laugh at whatever dumb shit he's going to post.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/w...help-americans
Two-thirds of voters say Democrats want to impeach Trump more than help Americans
What's sad about this? 1/5 of Americans think dems in congress want to help Americans more than impeach Trump.
The kicker?
And the shocking sidebar: A majority of Democrats, 53%, believe this is the case too, said pollster Jonathan Zogby.
Democrats: Trump is a threat to our democracy! We have to impeach him and remove him from office immediately!
Democrats after they impeach him: we are in no hurry to send the articles of impeachment to the senate.
What an absolute shit show.
I think it's fairly irrelevant to impeachment. And he's not accused, he's admitted to misusing the funds.
As part of the settlement, Mr. Trump, who at first dismissed the suit as a political attack, made 19 detailed admissions, acknowledging, for example, that the foundation had purchased the $10,000 portrait of himself that was ultimately displayed at one of his Florida hotels.
He admitted to using the foundation’s money to settle obligations of some of his for-profit companies, including a golf club in Westchester County, N.Y., and Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Florida which he frequently visits.
And he admitted that the foundation had given his presidential campaign control over about $2.8 million that the foundation had raised at a veterans fund-raiser in Iowa in January 2016. Mr. Trump acknowledged the fund-raiser was in fact a campaign event.
The Trump Foundation, which Mr. Trump founded in 1987, disbanded last December after an investigation by Barbara Underwood, then-acting attorney general of New York. Ms. Underwood’s office found “unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more.”
It is illegal for charitable foundations to advance the self-interests of their executives.
Why are you leaving out the part about this being a shakedown and the judge even admitting the money went to the charities they were supposed to go to?
Or that for example the portrait that was bought was actually bought at a charity auction?
Do those facts hurt your unbridled rage?
Here's the actual document submitted to the court showing the Trump foundation donated the money to veteran's charities in 2016, the liquidation and 2 million dollars is in ADDITION to the money the foundation had already donated.
https://web.archive.org/web/20190110...iles/ex_22.pdf
Why do you hate facts so much? Is it because ORANGE MAN BAD?!Quote:
But Scarpulla reasoned that Trump had agreed to dissolve the foundation, and the money raised at the Des Moines event did eventually reach charitable organizations tied to veterans.
Here's her ruling.
https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nys...NjvAeFP7v54A==
“A review of the record … establishes that Mr. Trump breached his fiduciary duty to the Foundation and that waste occurred to the Foundation,” she wrote. “Mr. Trump’s fiduciary duty breaches included allowing his campaign to orchestrate the Fundraiser, allowing his campaign, instead of the Foundation, to direct distribution of the Funds, and using the Fundraiser and distribution of the Funds to further Mr. Trump’s political campaign.”
Scarpulla said that she found that the $2.8 million raised at the Iowa fundraiser “was used for Mr. Trump’s political campaign and disbursed by Mr. Trump’s campaign staff, rather than by the Foundation, in violation” of several laws. However, she ordered Trump to pay $2 million in waste damages — not the full $2.8 million sought by the attorney general — because “the Funds did ultimately reach their intended destinations, i.e., charitable organizations supporting veterans,”
Yes they got Trump on a technicality because the state wasted so many resources investigating Trump that the best they could come up with is he raised money for veteran charities but they didn’t like the way it was handled, not because he supposedly stole money from veteran groups like the media lied about and that you apparently went along with because it suits your world view.
There it is. He didn't follow the law and they got him on a technicality
You are both correct.
It's beyond hilarious how Democrats are holding the articles of impeachment until the mean Republicans in the senate show proof of a "fair trial." Since when does the government and prosecution get to demand a "fair trial", isn't that something that the accused is guaranteed? The Democrats, who have been shitting all over our democracy for over 3 years, are somehow acting like the victims in this impeachment sham.
I just want one Democrat or TDS sufferer, just one, to explain to me how you can still go a long with this obvious political hit job? Is the answer really just "ORANGE MAN BAD!" because there is literally no other reason I can think of.
You say orange man bad too much dood
Oh well.
Oh wait, am I supposed to get outraged that Trump was mean to the people who are constantly threatening him, his supporters, and Republicans in general?
Oh...oh...oh! This is outrageous! How dare Trump say her husband is looking up at her! Thank goodness those perfectly normal Democrats impeached him.
Trump isn’t impeached until the Senate has the trial.
Apparently John Dingell implied Trump was a Nazi sympathizer.
He also told Trump to "go to hell."
He also suggested 2 years ago that Trump should resign.
He of course also suggested Trump was a Russian asset.
Yeah fuck that guy.
Hitler's a fucking cunt.
I apologize.
To the Jews.
https://youtu.be/mU0RqqGVKbI
I read what she said, and I didn't think she made a big deal out of it at all. She said she's still in mourning and it hurt, but we should let bygones be bygones, or something like that.
Trump was being a douche, but he's not capable of apologizing, so I don't know why anyone would bother asking.
Why should he apologize? No one gave a shit when he literally told Trump to go to hell, he was even praised for standing up to a dictator or some such stupid shit, but Trump should apologize for making a joke implying he's in hell? Something tells me he wasn't joking when he told Trump to go to hell.
Fuck that guy who held onto that seat for decades then the minute he retires his wife takes over the seat, not to mention this guy took over the seat from his father to begin with. That fucking seat belongs to the people, it doesn't belong to this corrupt family.
Trump brings up a good point:
Quote:
Nancy Pelosi is looking for a Quid Pro Quo with the Senate. Why aren’t we Impeaching her?
Article 1, Section 2, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution states: "The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
The house investigated, debated and passed articles of impeachment, the President is Impeached.
You really are dense. If the articles are sent over, then Trump is impeached. The Senate then is required to conduct a trial and the associated outcome of that trial will determine the action taken.
I know you want to live in an America where you are guilty before proven innocent but it doesn't work that way.
haha. Read what you wrote. It makes no sense. If there are charges to sit on then there are charges. Trump has been charged. They are now in the trial set up phase.
The House may have voted "to impeach" but the act of voting with a clear winner means that the president "is impeached".
What is the point of a vote in the House? To pass something. It has been voted on, majority won, so it has been passed. The vote has happened, the impeachment has happened, the charges have been agreed to and levied, that is all in the past. Now they set up the trial then have the trial.
From what I've read she is holding off until she can get an agreement to how the trial will be run. Namely, if there are witnesses going to be called or not. McConnell has already said he is working for the White House and president's defense.
She is in a tough spot. She is trying to leverage by not giving something the White House and Senate both don't want anyway.
We have to agree to disagree. In my opinion, if the vote has been cast, the impeachment has passed. The trial is just to determine if the president stays in office or not.
But for the sake of argument, what do you mean by "passed to the Senate"? That some intern hand delivers the resolution signed by everyone in the House to McConnell? What constitutes a "passing of the impeachment" to the Senate?
Dude, as usual.. you're wrong.
It's not a difficult thing to grasp.. yet, here we are.
When
The
House
Of
Representatives
Refers
The
Articles
To
The
Senate
Then
And
Only
Then
Will
The
President
Be
Officially
Impeached
.
I couldn't possible explain it anymore slowly to you. If you don't get it by now.. you will just have to chalk it up to yet something else that is above your intelligence level.
She has 0 room or authority to demand anything from the Senate.
They’re in a panic because they know they fucked up + have dog that caught the car syndrome right now and they know they’re gonna get severely pwned both in the Senate and in the 2020 election.
Would it even be valid then? Or would they have to start it all over since it’s a new House and all that? And this is assuming Pelosi is even still Speaker, which I think there’s a decent chance she won’t be after this gigantic shit show that only the retard elite like Backlash are getting behind.
This isn’t an opinion based debate you fucking mongoloid.
Yes the impeachment vote happened and passed. It still isn’t considered “official” until the House passes it over to the Senate.
That’s it. That’s the fact. It’s not open to opinions. Everyone knows it’s going to happen, but it hasn’t happened yet, so until it does, Trump hasn’t been “officially” impeached.
Also, you’re stupid. Which is a hard fact and not an opinion.
If that is all it is, Back, then why isn't the Senate acting on it already? It isn't considered a done deal until it leaves the House. It hasn't left the House yes, because Pelosi hasn't allowed it to leave the House yet. I am positive it will at some point, but until then, he hasn't been formally impeached.
I'm glad you can see that it is inevitable that this president has been impeached, thus for all intents and purposes is impeached, but what does it mean when you say the impeachment hasn't left the house yet? Seriously, is it delivered in en envelope? Email? What is that process?
The same way any other Bill is delivered, by placing it on the presiding officer's desk or by formally introducing it on the Senate Floor. There is a lot of formality in Government. In the case of Impeachments and Trials, it'll be a House appointed Impeachment Manager that essentially acts as prosecutor that introduces it.
This is America and as we've found out, the Criminal Justice system extends only so far as it's politically expedient. Any other citizen who was actively defying a subpoena or caught lying under oath would already be jailed for contempt, yet this isn't an option for a corrupt President. Any other citizen has a right to a jury trial and yet the "jury" in the Senate has already publicly stated it's intentions before the trial even began. This would be grounds for juror dismissal or retrial. Yet again this option isn't available for a corrupt President.
The majority in our country wishes to see Trump removed, yet the Senate and this forum are clearly drinking the Trumper koolaid.
