Saw Dr. Sexy this morning, and everything has offcially healed up. I have a little concavity on the left extraction site, so a little food still gets caught, but he said it's only been 2 months and it will take more time to fill up. But everything is healed and healthy. BAM

Use the insert image, from link, make sure you don't have that remote option checkbox clicked.

And no, I don't drive a Vespa, haha. I drive an Elantra, and apparently I wasn't paying enough attention today when pulling into my spot at work because I scrunched one of the concrete columns. I didn't hit it hard or anything; just barely swiped it. Enough to hear it crunch and go "what the fuck was that?!" I get out and I have a big ole swipe mark made up of multiple tiny scratches on my front bumper where the paint is gone. :(

I don't know what the fuck I was thinking this morning. Maybe not thinking, due to having just seen Dr Sexy. He kind of turns my brain to mush. (I'm totally just making excuses now. sigh)

MAYBE the solution is to just buy a full-length mirror for my gym!

Or a cheap clip on light for the mirror you use at home.

That you won't get chased out of your gym for installing an unauthorized mirror and/or arrested for vandalism is just an added bonus.

I'm torn on wisdom teeth removal. I had it done (albeit with lucifer's own local anesthetic injected into my gums by the sadistic dentist, as slowly as possible), but... I'm not sure if my kids will.

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Wellness/wisdom-tooth-surgery-wise/story?id=15152980#.UUtRkxf5rhc

Some science seems to say having it done is like doing an elective appendectomy just because there is a chance of a future problem.

AnticorRifling

I got them removed because they were growing in crooked. If they were coming in straight I'd have left them.

I was born without wisdom teeth. As in, I don't have them and never will. My sister, as well. Yay us.

diethx
03-21-2013, 02:36 PM
I think that's generally why people get them removed preemptively - because they're clearly impacted on x-rays and/or the jaw is too small for them to come in without issue.

Yes, this is the predominant reason why removal is recommended. So that it does not cause fracture/damage to existing teeth ... as removing it then, after the fact (it grew sideways into a molar), involves a lot more work, and undoubtedly significantly more pain for the individual.

diethx
03-21-2013, 03:33 PM
Yep. I wish I had mine removed as a teen/early 20s. It would've been so much easier.

drigore
03-21-2013, 03:37 PM
I had one growing into my jaw bone and was in severe pain and couldn't eat right. When it was removed it was five sided. I should have done all at once as I lost two more teeth because they bent and broke the roots of their neighbors being impacted. This all said, the first out when I was nineteen, and the others in my late twenties. I healed up just fine and rather quick. It's not all that bad, seriously.

Saw Dr. Sexy this morning, and everything has offcially healed up. No, I absolutely love 3/4 sleeves. It is pre-shoes. However, I wore my pink hi-tops today so that doesn't really help with propping me up. I don't trip, though, except maybe once every couple of years. Years of practice, my friend. Years of practice.

I don't understand the argument against tie clips. The only thing touching the tie is the bar, how does that damage anything?Surely you agree that, at some level, your tie is moving throughout the day (even if only Brownian). By being clasped between metal, friction causes tears (even if only on the subatomic level; silken quarks are f-f-f-fragile). This should also be considered relative to a tie chain being gently draped across the tie.
Unfortunately Justin Timberlake did not influence my choice. That is unfortunate.

I used to really like 3/4 sleeves but now I just have to roll them up or tug them ineffectually (that's what she said). I can't explain it.
Tie bars are an affectation.I have found them crucial in the unjacketed regime, as well as for enhancing overall albedo (bling bling).

The clasping mechanism is only touching the shirt.

It's a great study in contrasts. The cardigan is friendly and unassuming, the top is remarkable and really emphasizes your breasts between the pattern and the pockets, jeans are jeans: neutral and a good glue guy, boots over jeans are powerful and suggestive of an unruly, unruled element (amplified by a peeking tattoo). Also what is obviously a bandaid and not a ring works, too.

This is what I wore today:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v456/johnnyoldschool/P1020334_zps8b4d3a23.jpg

I got one hair-cut and now my hair goes up! Whoosh! Also an eyebrow for Tisket.

There are no pockets, it's just ruched up top. Speaking of emphasizing my breasts, I got a dress recently that does exactly that. They look pretty amazing. I will have to wear it soon.

I like that outfit very much, even if it's very Jehova's Witness-y. And I love the eyebrow. I can't do that with one eyebrow, and I hate those who can. I always look ridiculous when I try. :/

I am simply breathless with anticipation and envy! ... we should go shoe shopping on Saturday in NYC before the meet!!1!

As if shopping wasn't already penciled in over that weekend. I scoff at you. When msconstrew and I get home, our credit cards will need a cigarette and a trip to the free clinic.

I feel like you wouldn't look out of place if you randomly knocked on my door one day to talk about Jesus in that outfit. That can be arranged! Although I guess technically it can't, because then it wouldn't be random. MARKOV!!!
There are no pockets, it's just ruched up top.Oh, yeah.

I also wear a long black coat and gloves which cuts down on the JW vibe, or at least I think it does.
What I wore during the day:First let me say those carpets are magnificent. Second, I declare the combination of plaid and shoes in the second outfit Scots-fabulous. I only wish we could zoom in and enhance on the shoes!

What I'm wearing today: And a close-up of the shirt pattern. It's a greenish-yellow.I looked at it this morning and only thought (could only think) of Lord Arrghus of Zelda (Link to/for the Past), so I was hoping that seeing it later today would prompt a less desperately nerdy reference, but now I only think of The Sleeper Awakes due no doubt to your proud Afro-English heritage. I love your cardigan without recourse to literature, though!

I have tried in vain to drag and drape your scarves upon you, could you possibly oblige? I assume Atlanta of the South is experiencing tropical temperatures, but I am sure Bobmuhthol is willing to extend you an exception for an outfit you display but not technically wear.
Today's outfit for flying:I would totally sneak peeks at that top as a stranger on the plane when I (very much mistakenly!) thought you weren't looking. I would also admire your shoes but not glance furtively, that would be weird.
Sunday double! Its not a bad day to pull a double. Sometimes we get busy but otherwise its pretty chillax.I think I would be startled by how short you are, but I would get over it quickly because that is a fine outfit. Shirt, tie buttons, tie, and I expect European-fancy style shoes given a grey suit. You know the kind I mean. Oh, the watch! That must change.

As a side note, I am always pleased to find those sort of handles in bathrooms because it implies a locking mechanism and that pleases me.

Watch matches the frames, belt, and shoes. But, yeah, I have some steel framed lenses and watch that works with the grey suit, tie clip, and Zebra F-301 much better.

Since I work in a restaurant I really don't spend much on the day to day wear. Seriously, JCPenny, Sears, Macy's... all have decent stuff that is inexpensive, sturdy, and comfortable.

It's not hot here, but I don't actually have a lot of scarves. I could use some warm weather ones, and I don't think I have any of those at all.

I have no idea what you're saying here.In The Sleeper Awakes we are presented with a dystopian future where all classes are uniformed. African shock troops (trust me, it's way more awkwardly racist in the published-in-1910 book) wear black and yellow.
It's not hot here, but I don't actually have a lot of scarves. I could use some warm weather ones, and I don't think I have any of those at all.I look to the TSSW Pauper's walkway of your closet and lust impotently. Are those not scarves of at least +2 to scarfing? Aside: isn't the etymological origin of "scarf" as "to eat" totally fascinating? In conclusion, I move that we be the same in appreciating your overgarmentry vis-a-vis cardigans.
