Haha, thanks! Nah, my hair has always been long, I just used to dye it dark brown. I must say though, if I was a guy I'd have hair like yours. Fucking love it.Thanks! :D
If it has a name, I have no idea what it is. Let's say no, and you can officially name it whatever you like. I didn't need the tattoo covered, although I'll be honest in that I've thought about getting that one removed. I'm not as fond of it as I used to be. I just like to pair boots with skirts.Fasten your socks for this one: I officially dub it "a diethx shirt".
1) Mr. Mean Jeans! Oh my!

2) The tutu posed no aerodynamic difficulties and I got a lot of compliments on it from fellow racers. I have a couple "live action" racing pics that I will post later, maybe. I am definitely going to wear one of these again.St. Andrew's is only 258 days away!

well hellooo! I like this a lot  where's a damn gust of wind when you need one...

My outfit for today (and possibly again sometime this week, but with a different tank top). I will be adding boots.

I love that shirt (and not just bc I'm obsessed with the color orange). And I'm hoping the weather gets steadily warmer because I'm a fan of the leggage in these pics.

It's actually pink. I will be posting today's pic soon, as soon as I get some work done. I'm actually wearing bow-shirt again so it won't be anything super fancy.

Also, I am in Atlanta. Once April hits we probably won't see many days below 70 (lasting through October). :)

My skirt collection is vast. I am looking forward very, very much to moving the winter skirts (wool, flannel, velvet) to the back of the closet and moving the summer skirts (cotton, summer weight wool) to the front of the closet.

They did in the newest Scooby Doo incarnation! It has a continuous storyline where Velma and Shaggy are a couple. They have relationship troubles because Shaggy is kind of clueless but his heart is in the right place. Srsly.

This is what comes of falling asleep with the TV on Cartoon Network. I wake up to Bey Blade, Pokemon and Scooby Doo. That last one being the most acceptable.

If this was medieval Japan I would study at your monastery (and the dojo wars would be FABULOUS). Also, the lighting makes it look to the casual observer that your shirt is co-tone-ous with your skin, and I was afraid you had some Sam demon blood situation going on. I am glad this is not the case (OR IS IT) and the rest of the ensemble is simply sensational. Please tell me your nail polish matches the crackles in your top?

Mainly all the cool features and phones we get they've already had for years. We still don't use bluetooth and 4g like they do, And that was 2006. Bluetooth is like a fun picture messaging thing where if you're broadcasting you're sorta in a picture chatroom with anyone in range. It'd be pretty fun in lectures. Same- I requested a frosty as well... except instead of at the drive thru, I got out at the house and went to check the mail. The issue I was having was that I could only seem to control my arms or legs, but not both at the same time. I was born without all four wisdom teeth but the ones I did have, I had removed before they could fuck up my grill. Not that my teeth are perfect, but they could have been worse. I'm told that I woke up immediately after surgery when they were transferring me to the post-op room and demanded to leave RIGHT THEN. Apparently I didn't even wait for a wheelchair, just stumbled down the hall on my own. My boyfriend says I looked really, really angry. It's happened since then too. I guess I get belligerent when I'm put under. I don't like being in a position of weakness among strangers, I think? Just my best guess.

Still. I fucking loved the three days after the surgery. It was on a break in school so I stayed medicated the whole time. No pain at all and some of the best sleep I've had since the onset of my insomnia as a teenager.

As far as I know, they came in correctly (they yanked a few others out before I got braces 20 years ago, maybe that made room for them, I don't know) and don't need to be removed, but I wonder if letting that stop me is worth missing out on these fun times.

Nah. They hadn't come through yet. My teeth are already tightly packed. There was no room for them if they did come in and it would have knocked everything out of alignment. Plus, I'm sure it would have been painful. So, on the advice of my dentist, I got them removed preemptively.

Your daughter has fabulous taste in books. I love both C.S. Friedman and Garth Nix. The Abhorsen Trilogy is still one of my favorites to this day.

I'm now afraid of setting up my appointment with the dentist to have my wisdom teeth checked for removal. The one coming through my gum already hurts.

better to do it sooner than later...mine got so painful all of a sudden I could barely drive myself to the dentist. Swelling lasts only a few hours. Mac n cheese is good to have around after

Nah. They hadn't come through yet. My teeth are already tightly packed. There was no room for them if they did come in and it would have knocked everything out of alignment. Plus, I'm sure it would have been painful. So, on the advice of my dentist, I got them removed preemptively.

My jaw was also too short for more teeth- they ended up semi-coronal and impacted. I think semi-coronal was the term. Basically the front half came up out of my gum line, and the back half of the tooth was buried in the soft tissue at the back of the jaw. They had to break them to get them out, and ended up leaving pieces in. I should probably get those pieces removed (one was close enough to the surface to yank out myself) but I'm not really interested in spending the money.

My friend said the hole doesn't fill in after 25, and I would be so disgusted if I had holes in my mouth forever. ew ew ew.

I don't like the idea of having gaping bloody sockets in the back of my mouth, which is why I don't wanna do it, but they gotta come out soon, my bottom teeth are already crowding.

I had a gum graph done about a year ago... I wasn't under for that like I was for the tonsillectomy, wisdom teeth extraction, or hand surgery...
I was actually surprised about how traumatic it was to go through. While I couldn't feel any pain in my mouth, I could feel the periodontist cutting into my mouth, and feel the blade moving around under my skin. During the procedure, I noticed my body acting as though I was in ridiculous pain... my entire body was tense... my neck was stiff, my legs were kicking into the chair, and I was gripping the armrests with all my might. While I wasn't feeling the pain directly... it was obvious that it was still there, and my body was reacting to it...

That's so funny, I was weepy and eager to have long, rambling conversations when I had mine out, and we are each the same as we are when drunk.

I have a crack in my jaw (SPORTS! I'M TUFF!) that I've had to get disinfected through oral surgery about once every 6 years (it starts swelling, my teeth start to hurt like a motherfucker). They never put me under and they go at it like hell with tons of weird tools through an incision underneath my bottom teeth, it's shitty, but I don't think your body reacts particularly strongly to it cause really you can't feel a thing, it's just a weird intense pressure. It's all in your mind and your mind knows that what's going on is good for you, and not mouthrape.

Also the recovery is always kind of awesome. Opiates are pretty nice. I think I got the mid-level vicodin last time around... 7.5-500?

The first time it happened was pretty shit cause I was 12 and they couldn't figure out why my teeth hurt for like 3 weeks and ended up doing all this bogus shit to me (Dentist's favorite: grind some teeth down and NIGHTGUARD). My friend said the hole doesn't fill in after 25

Your friend is an idiot. Make sure you get it done while you can still have them removed without the risk of nerve damage. I had mine done in January and I had to have a coronectomy because my roots were too long and too close to the nerve. It went well, thankfully, because my oral surgeon is a badass. It could've been bad, though.

My wisdom teeth removal was easy enough, even though they were all sideways and hard to get out. They knocked me out senseless, didn't recall a damned thing. But I was told that when they woke me up, I was wide awake and walked my mom out to the car and opened the door for her and shit. Which I don't do. I don't actually recall it. But the pain meds were great, and I got to sleep a lot, and suck on gauze. The holes in the back of my mouth took a long time to heal, just had to keep using a plastic medicine type syringe to get the food out - which was kind of fun I guess. Especially when you get some HUGE chunk of bread or something that just floats out, and its like WTF, where'd that come from. I didn't realize how big the holes were.

Don't have a outfit picture to add, sorry.

03-20-2013, 07:49 PM
I still have to use the syringe on the left side, as it hasn't fully closed. That was the one that broke the gum a little (although both were impacted and neither actually erupted). The right side is fully closed and healed.

Oh, awesome. I have three that need removed. Unfortunately, my dentist isn't a fan of putting people out. On the other hand, one of them has had a chip in the side for a couple years now and I don't know that the dentist would be able to get that one anyway, which might just lead to an oral surgeon getting them instead. Either way, it's not something I'm really looking forward to, but need to get it done cause the fuckers are so far back it's pretty difficult/impossible to clean them well.
