Today is a Combichrist/Flesh Field playlist kind of day.
ELECTROHED over and over and over and over again with some oonz-oonz.
and then
Factory noises/Spaceships fighting in outerspace and faded voices you cant understand screaming angery anarchist nonsense.
A random Nightwish album I just downloaded. Someone told me that the bassist uses the same guitar I do so I wanted to hear it in action with an amp that is not utter crap.

All the "douchebaggyness" you hear from other covers are obviously in your head. While I understand there are some people that get so asshurt when other bands try to cover significant songs, it doesn't mean they're bad but they generally don't like them if Yorke isn't singing the tunes.

The version you posted, for instance, is a complete wreck of a revision. She doesn't have the voice to make the song her own to begin with, and she obviously let her ego beat whatever measure of talent she has.

That's what a cover is. They put his or her own style into the song while still remaining true to the lyrics and rhythm of the song.
And you can tell me my taste in music is flawed when you stop listening to Swedish pussy metal bands trying to nail In Flames leftovers.

Dark Tranquility came into existence + relevance before In Flames. The idea that you're suggesting they're cleaning up after In Flames tanked it makes me wonder if you know anything about them beyond what Wikipedia told you in your two minute search. If anything, Dark Tranquility is working off of the scraps of Old Man's Child (another band you'll have to Wiki).
On bitchtits' version of Creep: She stayed true to the lyrics and rhythm, and that leaves you feeling content (if not utterly thrilled)? How about the tone she completely murdered, and the feel of the song which was entirely lost by her glorified, arthouse wannabe style?
Not only could her voice not handle the song, she ripped away any of the raw edge that made it such a ridiculous hit to begin with. The only thing 'raw' about her performance was her throat two minutes later.

Oh no, that is my opinion. I was forced to listen to them both for months at a time due to my one ex boyfriend and my former friend. I'll admit I may not know a ridiculous fan girl/boy amount of DT or In Flames, since they both make me squeamish, but if I had to pick one it be In Flames only because their music sparks originality while Dark Tranquility entertains riffs in their music that have been recycled in more than enough "metal core" bands.

Ok, so you've figured out that your attempt at an organized argument was shot down, and now you're resorting to the "<insert person> exposed me to them, so I can make a sound judgement of their musical ability" on top of "icky" appeal (ZOMG SO SQUEAMISH)?
You referred to Dark Tranquility (a melodic death metal band) as metalcore, which on its own is enough to lose any merit your argument would've had. Those are two VERY different genres, and if you cannot recognize as much, it's no wonder that your fledgling musical career went down the pipes. At least you knew when to cut your losses on that bs about random indybitch's rendition of Creep.

Heather and linden, the fruit of your womb
There's honey and sap in the couch of your lap
Lady day
There's nothing you would not provide
When all is despair you are there at my side
It is you that is near it is you that gives ear
when I pray
You're lovely to me yes you are
You've been out on the road with a craving for tar
You know what you need yes you're canny in deed
And in name
You're lovely to me yes you are
And I'll see you tonight in a local bar
We'll be wed before dawn and by morning
We're one and the same
The old ones they knew you my love
They set you to reason and sullied a dove
But how could they try you or demystify you with words
You're a city that's pulling me still
You keep me from sleeping and strengthen my will
The gates they are strong but they open for song I
have heard
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're the beautiful one that time cannot mar
Your lost in the eyes of my love as she cries all for
joy
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're the elusive chord on my old guitar
You're hidden 'neath veils that our love making fails
to destroy
There's all I desire in your voice
I fear I am bold but you leave me no choice
You know that to ask me to turn from my task would be
vain
You're a rose that for no man will yield
You have many names and all of them sealed
Your empire is vast from the first to the last you
remain
You're lovely to me yes you are
It's war all the time but you bare no scar
You glitter like sand as it runs through my hands to
the sea
You're lovely to me yes you are
You're my drunken companion it's right that you are
Your love takes me higher your love is the fire in me

Lovely to Me--Lucky Jim
You're lovely to me yes you are
We've traveled together
We've traveled so far
Your tongue it is wise
And there's love in your eyes deep and blue
You're lovely to me yes you are
And venus ascending is surely your star
I've seen how you shine
But I can't make you mine it is true
You're a midsummer mountain in bloom
Heather and linden, the fruit of your womb
There's honey and sap in the couch of your lap
Lady day
There's nothing you would not provide

Glorianna~Wild at Heart.
Down a back road
Long, hot summer
A couple kids runnin' loose and wild
He kissed her
She said mister,
Take an inch and I'll give you a mile
I ain't here to do anything half-way
Don't give a damn what anyone might say
I just wanna free fall for a while
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
About midnight, he tells her
I ain't got no come-on lines
Well I'll love you, or I'll try to
We got nothing to lose but time
Stick your hand into my back pocket
Light me up like a bottle rocket
I just wanna free fall for a while
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leadin'
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
O-oh, alright
Tonight is tellin' us we're way too young
O-oh, that's alright
I've got forever on the tip of my tongue
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom
You got me runnin' baby,
Wild at heart
That rebel moon is shinin'
Those stars burn like diamonds
Hell bent on chasin' down that crazy slide
I'll follow you where you're leading
To the first sweet taste of freedom

Tonight~ Sarah Evans
If I had weakness, you sure found it tonight,
Some hidden desperation you saw floatin' in my eyes.
Moments just like these, baby: wrong can feel so right,
An' I don't wanna go home tonight.
I've held it all together long as I can.
There's pieces of me fallin' right into your hands.
Don't the lies come easy, baby, when the truth just ain't worth the fight:
No I, I don't wanna go home tonight.
So lay me down easy, hold on tight,
Tell me I'm the only one you see tonight.
Lonely woman, lonely man:
There's just some things only lonely understands.
I might be just a sinner who wants to be a saint;
One justifies the reason, oh; one understands the pain.
And I don't know what's wrong, baby, and I sure don't know what's right,
But I don't wanna go home tonight.
So lay me down easy, an' hold on tight,
An' tell me I'm the only one you see tonight.

There's just some things only lonely understands

At this current moment...
Wings for Marie pt 2
Listen to the tales and romanticize,
How we follow the path of the hero
Boast about the day when the rivers overrun,
How we'll* rise to the height of our halo.
Listen to the tales as we all rationalize
Our way into the arms of the savior
Feigning all the trials and the tribulations,
None of us have actually been there,
Not like you...
Ignorant fibbers* in the congregation
Gather around spewing sympathy,
Spare me...
None of them can even hold a candle up to you,
Blinded by choices these hypocrites won't see
But enough about the collective Judas
Who could deny you were the one who illuminated
my* little piece of the divine
This little light of mine, the* gift you passed onto me,
I'm gonna let it shine,
to guide you safely on your way
Your way home...
Ohh, what are they gonna do when the lights go down
without you to guide them all to Zion?
What are they gonna do when the rivers overrun
other than tremble incessantly?
High is the way
but our lives are upon the ground.
You are the light and the way
They'll only read about
I only pray heaven knows
When to lift you out
10000 days in the fire is long enough.
You're going home...
You're the only one who can hold your head up high,
Shake your fist at the gates saying,
"I have come home now!
Fetch me the spirit, the son and the father,
Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended.
It's time now!
My time now!
Give me my
Give me my wings!"...
