Buy some plate on ebay. Put it on. JUST the plate. Walk around all day in it. Take pictures of the sensative areas and post, and tell me how ya feel.
Oh and Nevermind, I really like your avatar, and I have no idea why.

A friggin' huge war griffin says, "Dude, stop attacking me."
A friggin' huge war griffin asks, "Srsly, wtf?"
But plate worn for armor would have all sorts of padding, it wouldn't be metal to skin contact. Besides, with full body coverage, how would you see his other clothes?
Space for rent, inquire within.
I know. It seems the whole plate-pants debate is a matter of opinion. I still feel that you need some sort of leggings, pants, etc worn on the char even if you're wearing full-coverage armor. And then there are those who don't see it that way. I just thought I'd poke the bear.

He has lovely pants and a nice elven jerkin under this armour.

I would say he probably doesn't need shoes in that getup. Pants are debateable (obviously) but a tunic/surcoat is a nice touch.
My wife's mohawk is longer than your penis.
I always assume, when people are wearing plate, that they're wearing padding/pants/shirts underneath. With my brigandine I always try to describe in the show descriptions the gambeson layered behind it.
I mean, the way I see it what's to say that Issi isn't wearing anything under her poofy ball gowns? Just because you can't see the corsets and chemises and skirts for volume doesn't mean they can't be there.
Eh, I just really don't care what the hell people wear with plate. As long as they are wearing something to cover themselves...plate would be very concealing anyway.
Anyway, outfit.
You see Hadya the Priestess.
She appears to be a Human of the Tehir tribes.
She is short. She has topaz-flecked dark viridian eyes and copper skin. She has soft sheened, dark sable hair worn in a number of slim braids that fall past her thighs. She has a jagged, scale-indented scar across her neck.
Her face is concealed by a veil of gauzy white silk.
She has some tattooed argent ophidian designs adorning her left temple, and an intricate tattooed pattern that covers the back of her hands.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a translucent silk headscarf, a deeply hooded pale raw silk burnoose swept with coppery tones, a sinuous emerald serpent symbol, a knee-length ivory silk kurta, a slender copper scaled corselet, a carved copper asp ring, a copper-beaded malachite silk hip-scarf, a sleek lacquered case, some billowy ivory silk pants with malachite-hued embroidery on the hem, and some intricate leather hide sandals.
>look kurta
This tunic-like garment is made of a fine matte white silk and has been tailored to fit closely to the frame of the wearer. Both the high collar and hem of the kurta have been elaborately embroidered with ophidian designs in malachite-hued thread. The hem reaches to just above the knee, and slits have been made on each side from the hem up to the hip to allow ease in movement.
Love her kurta.
