Like I mentioned in my first post we are watching America become more fractured than ever. If thats really what Republicans want then I say go for it. Let's break it up into two countries. Red states can ban everything they want and leave the blue states the fuck alone.

Sad thing is that even then when red states ban everything they don't like they'll turn on each other saying some reds aren't as red as others and start banning each other until there is no one left.

The Democrats already gerrymandered and spent all their ammo. Massachusetts has no R seats, Illinois has 3 Rs and 14Ds, California has 9 Rs and 43 Ds. All of these are crazy disproportionate to the voting population and it’s obvious partisan gerrymandering that led us to this point. Republicans are just now playing by the same rules.

Until we come to a reasonable & fair national solution to the subject of redistricting, let’s go all out. Gerrymander the fuck out of every state. Republicans will pick up more seats and we’ll win the midterms.

It does. The Civil War made it quite clear that states can’t just decide to leave the union.

I get it. Sometimes I have wished Texas leave and return to the independent sovereign nation it once was. Reality is though, that wouldn’t happen without a war. Also, it would leave both countries much weaker.

I propose instead a better solution. This is an opportunity for you to come to our side or agree on certain principles. Our federal government needs to be small & lean. It exists for national defense, interstate commerce, foreign trade, etc. It does not exist to be the bloated monster that it has grown into. We all share values outlined in our Constitution. Beyond that, let each state operate & govern as they see fit. Let California be California and Texas be Texas. It’s ok that we are different.
