I clearly haven't gone to your level of investigation, but wasn't she a highly decorated military pilot? A little respect for her sacrifice to our country. Not everything is black and white and from what I've read yes the helicopter was in the wrong place and a woman was flying it with an instructor. Mistakes were made and people died. DEI conspiracy or simple human error?

Food for thought: The pilot of the helicopter that tragically crashed on January 26, 2020, killing Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others, was a man named Ara Zobayan. Zobayan was a highly experienced and respected pilot with over 8,000 hours of flight time, including more than 1,200 hours on the Sikorsky S-76B helicopter involved in the crash. He was also a certified flight instructor and held an instrument rating, allowing him to fly in challenging weather conditions.
Attempted distraction is meaningless. The Kobe crash was from weather and lack of vision. The pilot got disoriented and thought they were going up and were in fact going down. He didn't trust his instruments and flew the chopper into the ground.

This crash was caused by willful ignorance and inaction of the pilot. There was no weather factor. There was no flight control malfunction. There were multiple warnings from the tower on at least 3 separate occasions in the tower recording in the 30 seconds leading up to the crash. There was a warning from the instructor. The pilot ignored them all. As they like to say in investing, "Past performance is no guarantee of future results."

I'm going to ignore your meaningless distraction about investments. Fine you don't want to compare another helicopter crash that made the news, ok.

Show me how DEI put her in the pilot seat?

Well one thing is for sure, it was completely fake news when they said Trump was to blame for the helicopter crash.

Mine was a comment, yours was a complete distraction attempt.

According to the militarys own report in 2024 under Biden:

Also in 2005, the ratio of female to male service members was 1 to 5.8. In 2023, that ratio decreased to 1 to 4.6, indicating an increase in female service members.
If you are increasing the ratio of women to men, because of DEI efforts, it is a simple extrapolation to assert that this has also affected pilots in the military.

    https://www.defense.gov/News/News-St...r-separations/

Previous to DEI initiatives, females were not allowed in combat pilot roles at all. So, DEI is 100% responsible for her having the position. The only non-combat helicopter pilot role in the Army is medi-vac pilot. She was not a medi-vac pilot nor was this a medi-vac training mission, so again, DEI is 100% responsible for her getting in the pilot seat.

You know what I'm thinking now? Prove mine was a distraction attempt and not a comment then. Or better yet, prove your comment was a comment and not a distraction attempt. This should be fun.

So when will we see the lawsuit against the government for allowing a female to <gasp> pilot a helicopter that wasn't in combat in US. Or are you still getting together the class action for that?

Since I'm not a helicopter afficionado like you, I asked ChatGPT, it claims otherwise. While not 100% unbaised you can ask it different ways to figure things out.

"In the U.S. military, females can fly helicopters in all roles, just like their male counterparts. There are no gender-based restrictions on military aviation roles. Women can serve as helicopter pilots in every branch that operates rotary-wing aircraft:
    1. U.S. Army

    • Women can be Army Aviators, flying helicopters like the UH-60 Black Hawk, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache, and others.
    • Roles include:
      • Combat support
      • Medical evacuation (MEDEVAC)
      • Special operations
      • Attack and reconnaissance
I asked it further "was Capt Rebecca Lobach qualified to fly a Black Hawk?"

Yes, Captain Rebecca Lobach was fully qualified to fly the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. At the time of the tragic midair collision over Washington, D.C., in January 2025, she was serving as the pilot in command during her annual night flying evaluation. Captain Lobach had accumulated over 450 flight hours, with 326 specifically on UH-60 helicopters. She was a distinguished military graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and had been serving as an Army aviation officer since July 2019. Her assignments included serving with the 12th Aviation Battalion at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and she had also held the role of a White House military social aide during the Biden administration.
Bold emphasis above is mine, and OMG OMG she was an Army aviation officer under Trump.

Or do you just hate women? If that's it, no need for further debate.

I know you’re not debating or directing this at me, but I love the pussy.

I just think, on average, adult men have an inherent natural advantage at operating heavy machinery vs. adult women. No data to back that up and just speaking from personal experience. I have no problem with women becoming pilots so long as the individual can meet the same competency standards.

A female burghal gnome can certainly be a great warrior in Gemstone, but they do have a -15 to strength attribute modifier…

Anecdotally, I don't know that piloting a Black Hawk is any harder or easier based on sex. I imagine if you are very short or very tall that might be impactful. I'm not a helicopter expert though, so no idea.

Unless there is some direct linkage saying she was a pilot and got that job ahead of a more qualified person because of her sex, it's pretty difficult to yell DEI on this particular incident. Light research shows she had many hours, and the bulk of those hours specifically in a black hawk. All the failures Rock states as fact are coming I think from daily beast and the final NTSB report comes out in 2026! I think I'll cool my jets (haha) on this until there is substantive actual data, rather than echo chamber Trump saying she's a DEI hire. I like Trump, he can be wrong and I can still like him.

That’s not how debate works but you keep trying.

Oh so now you believe the reports that came out under Biden. Interesting. I've seen 4 years of you on tilt about everything, but now you are rational about this specific report being accurate.
It’s all we have. No one else has anything more accurate or any other source of information. Bite me piss boy. I don’t know if it’s accurate, it is, again, the only data we or anyone else has.

So when will we see the lawsuit against the government for allowing a female to <gasp> pilot a helicopter that wasn't in combat in US. Or are you still getting together the class action for that?
Yay, more distraction whining from you. I am pretty clear on my stance about women in combat. I am against it for many reasons.

Since I'm not a helicopter afficionado like you, I asked ChatGPT, it claims otherwise. While not 100% unbaised you can ask it different ways to figure things out.
I asked it further "was Capt Rebecca Lobach qualified to fly a Black Hawk?"
Bold emphasis above is mine, and OMG OMG she was an Army aviation officer under Trump.
Correlation does not equal causation. Prove it or STFU.
Again, moving the goal post because you know you lost already. I, at no time, ever debated her qualification. I debated her getting the job of pilot in combat due to DEI and she did. End of story. Period. Because DEI pushed to allow women in combat positions, she got the job.

100% of the reason any woman in any combat position got the job is because of DEI.

Do you want to continue to try and make shit up, move the goal posts or put more words in my mouth to try and salvage your loss? Or, do you want to shut the fuck up now loser?
