Trump should be careful with pulling all of these sitting Republican senators and House representatives into his administration, the Republicans don’t have that much of a lead in either house.

I know he’s only tapping Republicans in deep red states/districts, but still, shit can happen. Democrats can get really energized if they think they can take back one of the houses.

Maybe we had Biden's motivation all wrong.

He was absolutely forced out.. either through "YOU CANNOT WIN GET OUT" from his handlers to some sort of bribery or coercion. We will probably never know the actual reason.

But I don't believe it was a mistake on his part to suddenly drop out.. and wait 30 minutes to endorse Kamala Harris.. why not do it both at the same time?

The plan by party insiders was to have an open convention and to nominate the best person to run for President. NO ONE actually believed that Kamala Harris was that person.. last time she ran for President she had to drop out of the race prior to the first primary because no one liked her or believed she was a serious candidate.

By endorsing Kamala 30 minutes after he dropped out.. he set the stage for one of the biggest political losses in US history. You can't ask for an open convention now, because you are either a sexist or a racist.. and no Democrat wants that game played against them.. so the Party was forced to support a Kamala nomination that no one wanted. She had to pay millions of dollars to get Beyonce, Oprah, etc.. to "endorse" her.. basically taking the money from the working class donors.. and giving it over to the millionaire/billionaires.

So if he did this.. did he really mean to say all Trump supporters are garbage.... OR WAS THIS HIS PLAN ALL ALONG!?!?

I call BS on Pelosi stating they wanted an open convention. They were strapped for time to put together a campaign and didn’t want any dissension within the party as that could harm them by dividing voters. I’m sure the idea was tossed around but they all huddled around their anointed candidate in record speed. Even if they did have an open primary and another candidate was chosen, that would have came with its own problems & likely would not have changed the election outcome.

If Democrat leaders like Pelosi were sincere about what they coulda/shoulda/woulda did differently, they would say they should have listened to their constituents about Biden’s horrible favorability rating in the polls & his declining mental state + had a real primary back when they could. That’s the truth.

I don't know... I remember when Biden endorsed Harris.. it seemed hurried and why would you put out another announcement after you just announced you weren't running 30 minutes prior. I also remember thinking how awkward it was for the Obamas to finally get on board 3 days later after everyone else seemed to coalesce around Harris.

Granted.. it takes believing that Biden wasn't the doddering old fool who didn't know what he was doing and was being led along until it was Pudding Time every day at 3pm. Thankfully, Blinken made it so anyone Trump nominates and gets confirmed will be a gigantic upgrade. Like everyone else in this current administration, Blinken has been an abject failure.... something you can absolutely relate to.
