You're saying CBS agreed to allow the debaters to lie freely and I'll take your word on that. Ironic though, Vance is upset because his feelings were hurt that the moderator added a fact to the discussion where Vance was making a bold face lie, fair, but if the candidates are lying then the moderators bringing the truth to the discussion seems par for the course. Still surprised you're advocating being lied to by folks running for high office.
We can all agree that their "fact check" was erroneous as pointed out by Vance.
So we can stop using the term "fact check".. as it's not appropriate in this case.
The CBS network agreed to have the candidates do any fact checking that they felt necessary.. that the moderators would simply MODERATE the debate.
They failed in the most basic way and got snapped back by Vance.
