So you're telling me, the current top star of the Democrat party, the one they had to sneak in to the spot without a single vote, has a whole 1 or 2 point lead over someone who is, in their words not mine, a convicted felon, a war criminal, someone who tried to overthrow the US government, a dictator who wants to destroy our democracy, a racist, a sexist, a bigot, and a rapist.

I hope Trump does destroy democracy - break up the shit heads that are trying to push for a democracy. Right now the US is a constitutional republic. A very, very, very small part of me wants Kamala to win, just so I can watch the likes of Seran work the production line 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, at gunpoint.

I want to see them line up in the chow line, getting served bowls of soup with pink, spongy, cubes of mystery meat. I want them to have to bathe in cold water and wear the same filthy clothes for weeks at a time. I want them all to experience living in the Victory block housing while being under observation 24/7 by the party members they voted for.

I want them to get exactly what they want.

That's the problem with every Socialist/Communist I have ever met. They all, always assume that *they* will somehow be the ruling class, they will be the local party chief and their support will be rewarded and they will somehow be lifted above all the horrors of Socialism and Communism that befall the peasant masses. They don't understand that everyone gets ground down by the machine. No one can be exceptional because that puts the whole apparatus at risk. They don't realize that everyone is watching everyone under threat of death or imprisonment and that no matter how much they think they are superior, someone else, who is just dumb and loyal to the party, is watching them with a gun and willing to pull the trigger.

But yeah, "Real socialism hasn't been tried, it will be different this time."

Nate Silver now says Trump is favored to win according to his latest model.

Keep in mind this is the same guy who said on election day in 2016 that Hillary Clinton had a 72% chance to win, he is now saying Trump has a 53% chance to win. So if he was that wrong in favor of Democrats in 2016, I wonder how wrong he will be about Democrats this time around.
