Despite all the valiant efforts of the DNC to energize their base on vibes alone, RFK Jr. dropping out & endorsing Trump is the biggest & most significant news of the week. If our special friends like ClydeR, Seran, and Shaft understood just a little bit more than basic girl math they would be shitting their pants in despair today.

How will they tell the difference in their day to day pants shitting and their shitting in dispair?

I'm sure they are happily supporting the candidate that not a single person voted for.

Kennedy has been polling recently at around 5% nationally. I predict Kennedy's voters will reallocate like this..

    40% - Trump
    25% - Harris
35% - abstain or third party

Somebody will probably do a poll of Kennedy supporters next week. Any of you want to make a public prediction in advance?

In his withdrawal speech, Kennedy said Trump "has asked to enlist me in his administration." He did not elaborate.

To make campaign ads, Harris just has to show video of people sitting behind Trump at his rallies yawning, almost falling asleep like Trump did during his criminal trial.

Agreed Kennedy is somewhere between 5-8% of the national vote depending upon the time, poll, etc.

All you do ClydeR is repeat what the teevee told you. Those numbers you estimated about how Kennedy’s vote share would be distributed are more or less how it was last week in a head to head. Another way to look at it is Trump gains about 0.7% over Harris in the national poll in a head to head only race. Which of course is not a lot and makes you feel better, right?

People have been trying to educate that national polls don’t mean dick. This election is going to be determined by a few key battleground states. Apply that 0.7% advantage Trump gains and it becomes way more significant.

Instead of repeating the narrative and making a stupid estimate, ask yourself how many MORE voters does Trump gain from Kennedy’s endorsement. He didn’t just exit the race. He is also telling his supporters to vote for Trump. I am not a betting man, but I’d wager that endorsement is not a net zero impact.

Honestly, if you're a person that has decided to vote for Kamala, you should be punched in the face every time you use the word "democracy" henceforth.
