I believe committee removal is a separate process that doesn’t happen automatically. Methais is right. It’s just a symbolic eff you statement that doesn’t really do anything but make us feel better. Still, I’m glad they did it & that it was a bipartisan vote.

I don’t know what you mean. They submitted a bill for billions in aid for Israel. All the Senate has to do is vote yay to approve it.

I expect that we make some kind of effort to reduce the over $33 trillion in debt. If we are going to help Israel, which I believe we both agree that we should, that money has to be taken from some other part of our budget. We can no longer afford to continue spend money we don’t have, especially in aid to a foreign nation.

Tldnr; Democrats don’t control the House & elections have consequences. No more blank checks.
