As shown in the first image below, the U.S. currently produces more barrels of oil per day than any other country, including Saudi Arabia. As shown in the second image below, U.S. oil production has been increasing. Did I already post this? I can't remember.

My favorite part of this thread is Seran and ClydeR are saying the US is producing more oil than any other country.. in a thread literally named "US OIL PRODUCERS FAIL TO PRODUCE" and the thread is created by Seran.

If your perspective is it's a waste of time, stop responding. That you continue to try and have the last word despite claiming it's a waste of time for you is childish and disingenuous don't you think?

Perhaps we'll see an executive order from Biden ending all exports of refined petroleum products, a single decisive action to call out Big Oil reaping massive profits at the cost of American consumers, on a base commodity we exceed domestic needs on.

Exploitation seems to be the theme of your party, followed by cutting taxes for corporations and the 1% to preserve the financial gains of that exploitation. I suppose they also stand for some dumb moral causes, but only when looking for money or votes.

As for protesters, so what? We don't pass legislation by public demonstration and it's safe to say the vast majority of the 81M people who voted President Biden in office like to drive. Asking the oil industry to do it more cleanly has been a huge success, so not sure why you're fighting it.

Add words like "abolish" and "end" to the list of things you're too stupid to understand at even the most basic level.

American Petroleum Institution, an industry marketing firm, was caught red handed trying to sway prices by wildly misreporting crude inventories last week. Now they're reporting a massive increase, but their numbers are suspect. Last Tuesday, they reported a decline in inventories totaling 4.2 million barrels, but the following day the /actual/ verified figures was a 5 million barrel INCREASE. The fact this organization is so blatantly fudging numbers trying to encourage a spot price increase in the behalf of oil producers is nigh criminal.

Huge Jump In Crude Inventories Sends Oil Prices Tumbling

The American Petroleum Institute (API) has reported a major inventory build of 12.940 million barrels in U.S. crude inventories, compared to last week’s 4.210-million-barrel draw.

Analysts were expecting a build for the week—although a much smaller one of 1.3 million barrels. The total number of barrels of crude oil moves so far this year is just 4.4 million, according to API data.

On Monday, the Department of Energy (DoE) reported that crude oil inventories in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) stayed the same last week, with the SPR inventory still sitting at a near 40-year low of 351.3 million barrels, with total purchases for the SPR coming in at less than 4 million barrels since the Biden Administration began its buyback program.

Oil prices were trading down ahead of API data release, with Brent trading down 1.81% at $86.06 at 4:30 p.m. ET—a nearly $8 dip week over week, while WTI was trading down on the day at 2.64%, at $83.70. WTI is down more than $7 per barrel from this same time last week.

Gasoline inventories rose this week by 3.645 million barrels, on top of the 3.946 million barrel build in the week prior. Gasoline inventories are roughly 1% more than the five-year average for this time of year. Distillate inventories fell by 3.535 barrels, compared to the 349,000-barrel build in the week prior, and are now about 13% below the five-year average for this time of year.

Cushing inventories fell this week by 547,000 barrels, after climbing by 705,000 barrels last week.
