It would be a shame if all of these lawsuits against Trump set legal precedent and were used without regard against bad politicians on both sides of isle.

Yeah it'd be a total shame if lawsuits were allowed to occur against businesses and individuals.. oh wait, that's been the judicial system process for hundreds of years. Only thing is new is the far right's obsession with the idea that former political figures have lifelong immunity to prosecution or civil liability.

No one here is saying he has lifelong immunity to anything. We are saying he has yet to be convicted of anything.

Do you have an actual quote of people saying that?

What does a strawman argument and a Seran have in common? They both are in desperate need for a brain.

You do realize the sheer amount of precedent the left has set over the past 8 years. right? Please tell me you know that they opened legal cans of worms that had never been opened before.

Seran can't handle that sort of thinking. When the tables get turned he'll be the first one pearl clutching and shrieking with mental illness rage all over the place about how unfair XYZ is.

What does prosecuting someone for evidenced supported crimes have to do with 'the left' from your perspective? You understand our system of laws doesn't have separate legal provisions according to someone's political leanings. You're focusing on the left, but what about presidential pardons of Trump cronies who were convicted of crimes? A special counsel appointed by Trump located and prosecuted those criminals, so maybe the precedent you're referring to would be Biden giving a pardon to his son?

Consistency in the application of logic or reason is not a trait that leftist are well-known to possess.
