There is gay as in homosexual and then there is gay as in behavior that is not conducive to traditional heterosexual males. As an example, musicals are gay. Joanne Fabrics store is gay. Grease was another good musical from the 80's. Oddly enough, Xanadu pretty much killed the 80's musical scene, it was gay.
