The tired old argument that requiring an ID to vote is asinine - as you literally need ID for anything you do in life... hence everyone has an ID (99% - yes I get there are 1 or 2 instances they may not).

Same could just be done for the citizenship test. Take it at the DMV, pass, annotated on your Government ID.

Why people make this stuff overly complicated is absurd... unless you think black and brown people are idiots and can't get their IDs (as the Democrats do - fucking racists).
Of course Democrats would be opposed to this. How would they get retards like Seran to pass a citizenship test? How would they get his great grandparents to rise from the dead & walk into the DMV?

Sounds like a ton of bureaucracy to just keep retards like Seran from voting in an election or two.
I haven’t heard that one but I agree on the age requirement. We should pick the age of majority and make it consistent to vote, drink, military service, etc. I’m not completely opposed to a basic literacy test to vote.

Good luck overturning the 26th Amendment.

In a common sense world - it would be as easy as:

Senior Year - Last 2 months - Student takes Citizenship Test - Student Takes Driver's Test - Student takes Finals - Students register for the Draft - Students recieve Government ID/Drivers license annotating citizenship/Driving credentials/Citizenship completion - Students Graduate ready to go into the world as an Adult.

Once an adult (18) - All laws, voting, drinking, military, etc. apply.

Of course, your comment on reading would already disqualify 60% of the Nation... Yes you can be intelligent and not be able to read, but as a basic metric for the overall populous - typically if you can not read, a person is lacking in critical thinking ability.

And before you nutjobs say I'm crazy...

Stats from the National Center of Education Statistics. Warning: Don't read if you don't want to be depressed at how fucking bad US schools really are - and the follow on atrocious thinking of it's citizens.

"Americans are pulling money out of their 401(k) plans at an alarming rate"

"Separately on Tuesday, the New York Fed reported that US households’ credit card debt surpassed the $1 trillion mark for the first time ever. The $45 billion increase in credit card debt helped to drive overall household debt levels to $17.06 trillion at the end of the second quarter."

And this is going to end just fine... don't sweat it... just some 000's and stuff inside a computer... Nothing will go wrong.

I have considered it in order to pay down credit card debt, better to pay myself x interest rather than the cc company at least twice that interest.
I asked for neither your Opinion,
    your Acceptance
    nor your Permission.

I get ya man. Hate that people have to do it. Just speaks to the larger, overall degradation of the economy as a whole.

I've been slowly pulling physical money out... a bit of gold coins... silver coins... etc. just to have on hand.

Not going overboard with it, but making sure have some alternate currencies on hand that can't be taken/lost if a banking situation happens, like has been occurring.

You are as dumb as everyone thinks you are if you believe we are in a good economy. Biden has done virtually everything he can to make it worse.
