I love me some Tim Scott, but he has absolutely no chance of winning the Republican nomination. 1) He is black and the Republican Party does still have a small & shrinking but meaningful minority that are racist pieces of shits. You think so? I’m critical of Trump on many things and would happily vote for someone better in the Republican primaries (I’ve recently began to doubt DeSantis is that person). I find Tim Scott’s tweet to be absolutely true and obvious.
The documents indictment has some legal merit in my opinion, though we seem to still be selective about who gets prosecuted. Trump was not compliant and being an asshole when he had opportunity to avoid that, so ok. That one makes sense. The NY State case and this most recent indictment with January 6th conspiracy charges is total bullshit. To me it is so obviously a political attack that I struggle to understand how anyone doesn’t see it that way. Everyone has a bias. I’m no different, but I do try to think objectively and not let that cloud my judgement.
