Yes I concur with your statement, my words were more about the law being extremely vague, they are unsure what will get them in serious trouble and what won’t. That’s what I meant. They are doctors, not law makers and vice versa, what may be ok to them, isn’t ok for other doctors.
Imagine you are in the doctor’s position, and you do the abortion, yet the state and other doctors(which the state can use at expert testimony), feel like you broke the extremely vague law and you lose your medical license, are you willing to risk that? Your entire life gone.
The state is just as much to blame as the doctor’s in my humble opinion, if you are going to write a law, that has these types of punishments, there’s no room for being “vague” it was obviously rushed to be pushed through as law without taking the time to be clear and concise.
