It's still early.. so you really haven't formed your opinion about it until MSNBC tells you what your opinion is.

Give it a couple days and you will be like every other white, liberal woman with blue hair.. crying that this isn't fair.

    Yikes.. I was right again.

    Quotes from MSNBC:

"The Supreme Court’s affirmative action decision confirms our worst fears"

"The court's conservative trajectory didn’t start with abortion — and it won’t end with affirmative action."

"Harvard students ‘devastated’ after Supreme Court affirmative action ruling"

"Supreme Court affirmative action ruling could mean ‘fewer Black students,’ fmr. prosecutor says"

Did ChatGPT write this for you or are you actually capable of some intelligent thought?

The original idea (whether you agree with it or not) regarding affirmative action was that black Americans had been disenfranchised for so long that they needed an advantage to catch up with other races. It was intended to be a temporary solution.

Personally I think the way we have gone about the whole equity thing by lowering standards for so-called marginalized groups is unethical & also a disservice to the people it intends to help. The benchmark should be equal for everyone, but I am not opposed to making investments into lower education (especially poorer schools) to achieve more qualified university applicants.

Yikes... more bad news on this topic for Seran:

“People with extraordinary ability and everything else necessary for success, including future greatness for our Country, are finally being rewarded. This is the ruling everyone was waiting and hoping for and the result was amazing. It will also keep us competitive with the rest of the world. Our greatest minds must be cherished and that’s what this wonderful day has brought. We’re going back to all merit-based—and that’s the way it should be!” -President Trump on Truth Social

    Sorry Seran.. more bad news:

Biden says he disagrees with Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action.

At this point Seran, just say your account was hacked by a normal person and they posted that bullshit that you vehemently disagree with.

By the end of the week, Seran will make a post totally opposite of the one you quoted and will act like he never said that despite it being right there forever. Or at least until the PC implodes forever.

The Democrat Party isn't quite the one size fits all you imagine it to be, certainly when it comes to affirmative action or diversity quotas going to a less qualified candidate due to the color of their skin, there's quite a lot of push back.

The country is more than fifty years past being forced to stomach inequality in the name of 'making right' prior injustices, particularly as it only creates even more animosity. Take two students, one under qualified and another well qualified and they're out into contention over a high stress, high standard environment, but choose the less qualified applicant on the basis and what do you think is most likely to happen? Failure. There's no equality in setting someone up for failure, not when there's plenty of undergraduate schools to help better prepare that candidate to rise to the level of deserving the role to begin with.

SCOTUS said President can't just erase billions of dollars of debts and must go through Congress to do it.

I guess President Biden was correct when he stated he doesn't have the law on his side to forgive student loans back in 2019.
