Inflation has been aptly described as costs + profits. Profits for major corporations and ESPECIALLY Big Oil are through the roof, so yes the price gouging and inflation derived by energy prices is a large factor in ongoing inflation. Greed-flation is particularly a problem now that corporate income taxes were slashed, profit taking is almost manic as a result.
Tell us you don't understand what inflation is without telling us you don't understand what inflation is.
