After the Texas Speaker of the House appeared inebriated during a House session, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton called on him to resign. Just days later, the House voted to impeach Paxton.

Now Donald Trump is weighing in with this post on Truth Social..

The RINO Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is barely a Republican at all and failed the test on voter integrity, wants to impeach one of the most hard working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who just won re-election with a large number of American Patriots strongly voting for him. You would think that any issue would have been fully adjudicated by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so conclusive….

Ken Paxton is a corrupt piece of shit self-serving asshole that needs to be removed from office.

Dade Phelan is generally well liked and respected by both parties. It did appear he was slurring his words the other day. They were in session for many long hours. That is not an excuse and we the people of Texas deserve to learn the truth.

Trump is wrong.
