They can't downgrade her charges by much, other than dismissing them altogether. So far she's been charged with harassment and menacing. Menacing is a misdemeanor, punishment ranging from up to a whole year in jail down to just probation.

The charges are already basically a joke for a crazed person holding up a machete to a person's neck and threatening to kill him.

The difference is kids shouldn't be serving alcohol. As a matter of fact, a good number of those laws listed are in violation of federal statutes which supercede state attempts at renewing child slave labor. The DOL reported a 70% increase in child labor infractions, no doubt Republicans will want to defund them too.
