I know exactly what it is... it's their CI division. They've always had one... the point is adding 80k+ new agents, of which will be an increased armed police force that oversees peoples taxes.
If you think adding 80k+ agents (170k or so total)... making the IRS larger than the FBI (35k), the whole DOJ (115k in 40 components), and as large as the Marine Corp (177k active in 2022)... will lead to anything good for the general populous...
Then you're just insane... especially since the majority of all taxes are done electronically and by computer....
So you tell me? Do I not pay attention... or does this just not make any sense?
People really should do their own research... instead of me having to literally spell out everything for them.

"New York moves to become first state banning natural gas hookups"
"Under the budget deal, natural gas hookups will be banned in small buildings beginning in 2025 and large buildings beginning in 2028, according to Hochul. The governor said in remarks that the budget insulates households from "exorbitant energy bills" while helping the state build a "more sustainable future."
"I promised New Yorkers we'd make our state more affordable, more livable and safer, and this budget delivers on that promise," Hochul added in a statement.
"Additionally, just 14% of households in the state were heated with electricity, the vast majority of which was generated by natural gas power plants."
What's hilarious, is they flat out lie about it... everyone knows heating a home with natural gas is much cheaper than with electric... but hey... I'm just not paying attention apparently...
Now ask yourself... why would they do this, then blatantly lie about the reason for it? Because people are fucking morons is why...
They are creating a single source reliance on Government utilities by excluding alternatives... but hey, I'm just crazy and it's all a "conspiracy"... but when the grid goes down...
https://www.generac.com/be-prepared/...r-outage-occur
"Yet again, weather remains the number one factor for power outages in this east coast state. New York had 165 outages affecting almost 900,000 people in 2017. Nor’easters are to blame for the most weather-related outages and had many suburban citizens calling for tree removal to help prevent the damage. Thankfully, the average duration of an outage is only about an hour."
Now do the math... if currently only 14% of homes are heated via the electrical grid... and then you ramp that % up... what do you thinks going to happen?
I'd recommend moving out of NY sooner, rather than later... future winters aren't going to be to fun.
Bit by bit... 1000 paper cuts that people don't realize how it all ties together, until it's to late... but you're right... I just don't pay attention... and they're doing this all because of their altruistic nature.

"Opinion: Gas stoves emit greenhouse gases, can contribute to asthma, heart disease, cancer"
Huh... weird... same day the release the news article for NY... look what pops up in Asheville, NC publications...
https://www.vox.com/policy/2023/3/21...e-health-risks
"The gas stove wars are far from over Gas stoves are facing a new era of regulation. The public health science says it’s justified."
Odd... March 21...
https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/09/busin...ncy/index.html
"A US federal agency is considering a ban on gas stoves"
Damn that's strange... Jan 11...
It's almost like... there's a coordinated effort... so what do you do when there is a backlash when it's said they'll do it at the Federal level? Start the piecemeal process - city by city, state by state...
Almost like....
https://reformcalifornia.org/news/ba...-over-30k-each
"Banning Gas Appliances Will Cost California Homeowners Over $30k Each"
"California Democrat politicians are proposing costly bans on the use of any natural gas appliances in homes and buildings across the state. A proposed statewide ban is already advancing and several localities have already adopted the bans."
But hey... actions like this + California's tax on electricity based upon annual income + 80k more armed IRS agents... has nothing in common... no thread leading to a larger end goal... it's all just happenstance...
I tell ya what... all that "fearmongering" based on things that are happening is insane I tell you! INSANE!

Did I say that? Do you really think the IRS needs as many people as the Marines? Stop nitpicking... you know what I'm saying, and I'm getting tired having to point this stuff out.
Fun point... just the other day... can't make this shit up....

"California takes aim at freight train emissions, bans non-electric train engines"
"The so-called In-Use Locomotive Regulation makes California the first state to tackle freight train emissions which represent just 0.5% of total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, according to federal data."
""Locomotives are a key part of California’s transportation network, and it’s time that they are part of the solution to tackle pollution and clean our air," CARB Chair Liane Randolph said in a statement Thursday. "With the new regulation, we are moving toward a future where all transportation operations in the state will be zero emissions."
Interestingly...
https://www.floridarail.com/news/whi...-rail-freight/
"5. California: Rounding out the top five is California with 64 million tons of rail freight loaded annually. The Golden State is the most populous state in the country and has a large and diverse economy. From agriculture to manufacturing, there are many industries that rely on rail transportation in California."
All just a coincidence...
