No one is outraged by shooting down the balloon. It’s where we wanted it shot down. If it was shot down over land, we’d have no information about the real capabilities and uses of what the balloon were. Since we shot it down over water, and can actually recover it and see what it really was.

And if you say the Chinese spy balloon could do more than that… we’ll you should say thank you for shooting it down over the water instead of land, because you wouldn’t even know that otherwise.

China has satellites that go over America all the time. America has the technology to stop over head imaging of getting any real data.

It's amazing on how far we have come in just the past month. Prior to this month, we never heard of Chinese spy balloons... now we've not only shot down 3, but we found 3 we didn't know existed from the Trump administration!
