I can see why the Democrats fought tooth and nail against having that video released. What an absolute shit show. The reports made it sound like the door magically opened on its own and the police immediately saw Paul in a fight for his life.

Instead Paul and the dude answered the door together, and Paul is so terrified for his life that he has one hand on the hammer and the other hand is holding a drink (which he never drops), and instead of immediately asking for help he just says “hi” twice. Even after the attacker starts to fight for the hammer he still doesn’t ask for help and just says “hey hey hey.”

Probably drugs or alcohol, or both, which is probably why Democrats fought so hard against having this video released. The dude never drops the drink, even as the guy is swinging the hammer at his head.

It's still funny to me. I just don't have compassion for people with multiple DUI offenses, they have as much concern for other peoples lives as the dude with the hammer.

I also don't get how the guy would continue to allow Pelosi to keep talking on the phone - since he responds and alters an answer for him - when Pelosi makes the 911 call.

Pelosi's right hand is on the hammer, and his left is holding a drink... so he couldn't open it.
