On Jan. 20, 2021, Brent crude cost $55.66 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate cost $53.16 a barrel.
On Jan 4, 2023, Brent crude cost $79.53 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate cost $74.46 a barrel.

It's only a 40% increase... but it's still down from when Biden drove the price up to $120 a barrel a year ago.
