It's not a scandal. It's a a business owner deciding he doesn't want to have his product attached to war.

The fact that a "liberal" is suddenly for war profiteering shows just how far the Democrat party has fallen.

The dude is literally one of the leading innovators of EV's and liberals hate him for it.

Then why doesn't the US Government provide internet for Ukraine? Musk isn't under ANY contract to provide jack of shit for Ukraine. He is honestly, probably the reason there has been internet and stories coming out of there since the start of the invasion.

No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

Because our government doesn't offer internet services, they're not an ISP like Starlink. You're confusing capability with obligation. Ukraine is purposefully being excluded from internet access by it's forces in Crimea, while Russians already there have unfettered access. I'm sure it'll be declared illegal soon.

Seran is so fucking stupid that he apparently thinks the US military uses a civilian ISP for conducting warfare.

The US has plenty of communication capability without relying on a private company, I'm sure they could easily help out the Ukraine military with communications here if they really wanted to. But apparently you want a private citizen to insert himself into a war that Ukraine wants to wage against Russia.

While I agree with you with most of your post, especially that Seran is so fucking stupid...

But I'm not sure you can describe what's happening in Ukraine as "a war that Ukraine wants to wage against Russia" Russia was clearly the aggressor here and Ukraine is merely defending their right to exist.

This whole internet debacle is because supposedly the Ukraine defense minister asked Musk to make internet available to Ukrainian soldiers in Crimea. Like it or not, Crimea was annexed by Russia 8 years ago, this is far beyond just kicking Russia out of their territory after Putin invaded earlier this year.

This would be like if Mexico decided it wanted its former territory back from the US and pushed into US territory with claims of "defending" itself, all while demanding billions of dollars from other countries so they could buy more military equipment and demanding private citizens in other countries help their military with communications.

Whose dumb? You're implying US forces, equipment operators and support personnel should be deployed to a foreign war zone in Crimea? How retarded can you get.
