Labor department numbers are out, half a million new jobs have been added and unemployment has dropped to 3.5%. Guess we're not going to have much of a recession after all. Falling gas prices, deficit reduction by making sure mega corporations can't avoid taxes, a job for everyone who wants one.. Bad news for the Republicans.

So, where in those numbers do they mention those who have left the workforce? Where do they mention the illegals taking up millions of jobs that aren't on the books so to speak? That's the chart from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Still down nearly 2%. That's millions of jobs short. Now if they ever get back to pre-pandemic labor force participation rate, then exceed that? - I'll give them some credit, and they will for once actually "created" jobs.
