He will come out and claim this isn't a recession and go on about "job growth" and other such excuses and probably blame Russia/Trump/Covid/Oil Industry for the trouble the country is going through right now.

The Biden administration has never been transparent with the American people about the economy or anything else. You don’t think there is political motivation with midterms looming to downplay the current dire conditions of our economy? His so called leadership is a joke.

The Biden admin created an energy policy that discourages the market from making investments to increase output on fossil fuels. Russia just for real this week cut off petroleum to Europe, so we’re likely to see those costs rise further once again. SPR releases are not an accomplishment. At the very best of circumstances it may make a very small difference in the very short term.

I can go on and on about why & how I think the Biden administration is incompetent, but you don’t care. Instead, take a look at any recent poll of Biden or what Americans think about his competence. Hell…just look at exclusively Democrat voter polling and their disapproval on several key issues. Even the media and Democrat party is turning on Biden as they begin to finally recognize how poorly this administration is performing.

President Biden has a good opportunity to show the difference between leadership and the showmanship of the prior administration by doing just that ; acknowledge what's occurring, encouraging Americans to see hope and to reduce spending, not crater it.



Inflation is still rising hard and fast and the breakdown of it was 60-70% as a result of energy prices on each step of the economy. Direct consumer spending on unavoidable purchases, supplier cost push, etc. Reducing government spending? Maybe redirect government spending further away from QE and other capital loan guarantees to allow business credit to once against reflect the actual valuation of companies rather than what easy money allows investors to throw at bogus enterprises. Inflation will begin tapering down, but not at the rate the government original foretold. Energy prices are at last falling, but the results will take months to start showing.




Just out of curiosity, what specific reasons do you think the Biden administration is incompetent and unable to be trusted? He laid out an energy plan which had the immediate effect of halting the price increase of oil. Shell's CEO just gave an interview this morning acknowledging that the SPR releases helped and had that immediate effect of stopping the rise of oil. He also said that despite the focus on Russian sanctions, the amount of oil being shipped out of Russia hasn't changed much, which is a reality a lot of us have been saying for some time.

Hearing market analysts saying repeatedly the supply side is still seeing disruptions between shipping costs associated with fuel costs and China still having a downturn in manufacturing, what DO YOU think can be done to alleviate that issue.

I’ll concede there isn’t an easy fix and the President has limited influence / power from this point forward to influence our economy in the right direction. A good start would to first admit that we have a serious domestic economic issues. Perhaps he could apologize to the oil industry for being such a dick when he took office and have regular business round table with petro industry executives to discuss how he can change his energy policy to better support our domestic production needs & energy independence. How about stop printing money for dumb reasons? We’re going to need to have a real talk to Ukraine to say that we support you guys but American interest comes first, and right now we’re kinda broke. Also, maybe we need to think about putting on hold some of these expensive climate change driven alternative energy investments & infrastructure temporarily while our economy recovers.

But nah…instead we’ll just get some kind suggestion that Congress pass a “Don’t Say Recession” bill.

I believe Manchin just caved and they are passing more spending bills as we discuss the recession we are in.
