    Also, why is there a word processor hanging on the wall?
    That is not a word processor, that is a Commodore 64.

    Was there ever any point to a keytar other than "Play piano while trying to look like a cool guitar player."? Those always seemed weird as fuck to me, even in the 80s.

    Probably because the entire room is for aesthetics. I hope.

    When they came out, they were the shit. Also, the original 7 computers on the space shuttle were basically Commodore 64s.

    It definitely would not have been hanging on anyone's wall. If you owned a Commodore 64 you were the envy of every nerd. Friend of mine had one as well as the old school modems that you pressed the phone receiver into.

    The White House's website just redefined what "recession" means so they can now say we aren't in a recession. Get ready for this talking point to make its way through the entire mainstream media and the Democrat party at large.

    What an absolute joke the entire Democrat party has become.

    I believe Dreaven is referring to Janet Yellen's interview with CNBCs Chuck Todd;

    TODD: “If the technical definition is two quarters of contraction, you’re saying that’s not a recession?”

    YELLEN: “That’s not the technical definition. There is an organization called the National Bureau of Economic Research that looks at a broad range of data in deciding whether or not there is a recession. And most of the data that they look at right now continues to be strong. I would be amazed if they would declare this period to be a recession, even if it happens to have two quarters of negative growth. We have a very strong labor market. when you are creating almost 400,000 jobs a month, that is not a recession.”
