Despite Biden imposing an oil embargo on Russia and getting a lot of other Western nations to do the same, Russia is actually exporting MORE oil now than before their invasion of Ukraine. Oh and oil prices are about 30% higher now compared to then as well.
So Russia is selling more oil for more money now than before the invasion. Meanwhile thanks to Biden, Americans are paying the highest price ever for gas, food, energy, rent, and other necessities and luxuries.

Let's be honest; was there ever going to be any other outcome other than Russia getting exactly what they wanted?
It would have required at the very least China, and probably also India, and especially Europe, to cut off trade with Russia and isolate them in order for them to possibly back off in Ukraine. Since none of that happened then it was just a matter of time until Russia crushed any Ukrainian defense.
It was like we thought we could just stop buying Russian oil and slap a few sanctions on them was going to get them to back down.

Yes, they aren't going to get exactly what they wanted. They wanted Regime change. That isn't happening. They didn't want NATO to expand, that is happening. Honestly, they hurt themselves more than they have gained.

How have they really hurt themselves though? A few sanctions that doesn't seem to be hurting them? Europe still guzzling as much Russian oil and gas as they can.
