So you might want to read up on topics before you start posting utterly illogical arguments about them.
Leaving aside the fact that, as usual, you are throwing around a bunch of unfounded claims and acting like they have an effect they do not...the US only imports about 5% of its oil from Russia. Europe is the primary importer of Russian oil, accounting for
60% of Russia's oil exports. China is another 20%. So I'm not sure what massive impact you think us moderating our own oil imports from Russia would have on them.
Regarding natural gas, this is another of those situations where you're just parroting talking points without really thinking them through. First, the EU gets to decide from where it imports its natural gas. Secondly, exporting massive amounts of our own natural gas raises prices at home. Third, our natural gas is already some of the cheapest in the world. It's just kind of expensive to transport it across an entire ocean first *then* to transport it across Europe.
And finally, there's the incredibly obvious reason why no one did this: Russia would have taken it as a virtual act of war on the part of the US and Europe (EU + Norway) if there were a coordinated effort to deny it 60% of its natural gas export revenue- which the country relies HEAVILY on.
Bonus reality check for you- if we really wanted to end dependence on Russian oil we would have been investing heavily in renewable energy sources. But idiots like you got your "science" from paid political hacks and kept us from doing it. Oh and now our planet is probably past the point where we can stop it from becoming unlivable for most of the world. So I would recommend sitting down, shutting up, and reflecting on your own stupid political choices.
