The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. ~ Marcus Aurelius“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”

Abramovich, a Russian oligarch, is selling his shares in the soccer team Chelsea.
"I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation where all net proceeds from the sale will be donated. The foundation will be for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine. This includes providing critical funds towards the urgent and immediate needs of victims, as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery.”

This is the United States Vice President explaining the situation between Russia and Ukraine.
You know Seran is all like "OMG NOW I UNDERSTAND!"
Scary thought of the day: She's as close to being President as any VP in the past 40 years.

Isolationism never worked, or will work. The world is too interconnected for that to happen.
Kyiv hasn’t fallen, I still think we should put a token UN force in Kyiv, and put up a no fly zone as well.
What’s happening, we shouldn’t just sit back and help from a distance. NATO needs to defend democracies all around the world, if that could lead to a greater conflict(which I don’t think will happen) I think it’s worth the risk or this aggression will never stop. A fancy membership card shouldn’t be the only thing that saves you.
Before the invasion happened, we should have put 3,000 or so troops in Ukraine for “training” purposes, and just left them there.
And fuck Putin. This blundered invasion has made the Russian military look like a joke. The only thing they have are nukes.
It’s been reported that this invasion is costing Putin 15bln a day. All of a sudden that 630bln chest he has saved, doesn’t look so big.
