The real question here is how China is going to respond to this if it continues to escalate.

That's the part of the equation that people aren't talking as much about. Is there a line- like this- Russia could cross that would get China to renounce their partnership?

That would leave Russia in real trouble.

The real question should be "Why the fuck are we bothering to fund the UN?"
