Yeah, I don't know if you're referring to Ukraine who doesn't have the military capable to launch strategic airstrikes into Russia, or the United States who has no interest in participating in World War III, which would occur the moment it launched airstrikes into Russia. This is a non-NATO country defending itself against a hostile invader and the United States has done it's utmost to supply counter-invasion armaments and supplies in anticipation of what is going down. The Ukrainian President made a serious miscalculation waiting until he did to draw up reservists. Our country has been announcing publicly and informing Ukraine private for weeks it was coming and they failed to act precipitously. The perfect moment was when their leadership publicly asked Biden to stop saying they were about to be attacked. Whoopsie.
I would venture a guess in all sincerity, that nuclear weapons wouldn't be used. You fire one of those off, nobody wins. And quite frankly, now you've contaminated the land/had your land contaminated for centuries. There's much more effective ways of ruining a country than just killing/getting killed with nuclear weapons.
See above with regards to nuclear strikes. I'm saying if Putin had 30 guns pointed his way (Yeah, I know places like Iceland, Slovenia, etc are useless. Whatever, they have airports. They can point fingerguns, it's fine)? Even an ex-KGB man like him might be like alright alright, everyone calm down a bit. He can't win that fight. Not if all the NATO countries all stood up and said, try it. Even Ukraine is holding its own. What happens when the rest of us show up and start defending them, then start the counter attack back on you?
