Not the US, because of thd export ban. Our country would then be competing on a global market for less than a third of its oil needs.

The drop in production DIRECTLY correlates with the raise in prices. The export ban ended nearly 6 years ago, so it probably isn't that.
Feel free to reach it to the API and ask why their member companies have idled a full third of their wells. They'll tell you demand hasn't increased enough and theirs an abundant supply. When the export ban is out into effect, those idled wells will be placed into production again as domestic market demand ramps.

They'd be completely wrong. Consumption is higher than last year, but production is down. Guess what the means? Higher costs.

Seran and the Democrats have suddenly become Russia's greatest ally.

Production is /idled/. In 2020 the average oil produced per day in the US was 18.4 million barrels per day, yet as of the end of month October 2021 only 11.5 million barrels per day were being produced. Both numbers are part of the EIA.

Then we throw in the lie about Biden restricting drilling. Biden has halted /new/ oil and gas leased temporarily. Yet per Arcgis, the western US alone has 9.9 million acres of federal lands leased and not yet developed. 9.9 MILLION.

You all are absolute sheep, believing every lie told to you by Conservative media.

Leasing and actually tapping the resources are two different things. Biden literally denied accessing copper and nickel in MN just a week or two ago. Democrats are the biggest roadblock in expanding our infrastructure, buying journalists is more important.

That means absolutely shit for oil companies who own oil & gas leases and choose not to develop them.

You can say /idled/ all you want. It is down. Demands are higher. That is why costs are up. It is that fucking simple.
