But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking specifically about the folks who are united states citizens that travelled there willingly. That is 100% on them. Whether they were there for personal travel, or to push Christianity or wtf ever. They have to own that decision.

I think both arguments can be correct. People who went made a poor decision and have responsibility in that decision. Biden's pull out was probably the worst organized retreat in American history.

CNN had an interview with Pakistan's Prime Minister who is encouraging the world to give the Taliban time to form a stable government. I'd recommend reading the interview.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan said the best way forward for peace and stability in Afghanistan is to engage with the Taliban and "incentivize" them on issues such as women's rights and inclusive government.

Speaking to CNN from his private Bani Gala residence in Islamabad on Wednesday, Khan spoke about enduring what he perceived as a "terrible" relationship with the United States that has been disastrous for Pakistan and how he is now seeking a more pragmatic approach in dealing with Afghanistan's new leaders.

Personally, I find fault that any aid is owed to Afghanistan beyond basic food assistance now coming through the UN that America pledged to donate to. Freeing up $10 billion in cash reserves would just be used to fund the oppressive group. I legitimately believe a year or a few years of sewing what they do with the country without giving them a dime will be a true test of their pledges to not support terrorism.

If they need money, they need to turn to the country's massive opium operations.
